How to make your penguin eyes Blink (ON THE GIMP)

By the end of this lesson you should be able to make your penguin pictures eyes BLINK!

1,First open your GIMP, and then take out your picture of your penguin.
2,One's youv'e done that make a new layer by going to Layer>>New Layer Leave the setting's on how they are.
3,Go to the GIMP pannel and take out the thing that looks like a Dogs Necklace.
4.Hold it out go on the black outline of the penguins eyes,Once youv'e done that Let go and cover the space in white by going on GIMP pannel>>Gradient Tool> Chooese the the white and put it accros on the moving lines.
5,After when you have done that Go to Filters>>Animation>>Optimise For GIF, then a new sheet will come on then Filters>>Animation>>Playback To see what it looks like!
6,Go onto File save it as whatever name you want like Imadethis Then on the end of that write .GIF so it would turn out like this Imadethis.GIF

Thank you alot. But the eyes blink extremely fast. Is there any way I can fix that?

Think of it as animation, if you want it to go slower, you need more pictures.

i told you how to do this bulldoz! o yeah if you want the blinks slower then get the picture of a penguin then do new layer as much times recomended: 4 then put a brush over the eyes and then optimize for gif
i cant beleive it well i dont care but i told you this!!!

Put on more layers that make's it alot slower, the more you put on the slower
