Lately there have been too many people joining here with the sole purpose of promoting a "certain website" that claims to give you "free" Club Penguin membership. The website in question should not be mentioned by name, because it is a part of the filter and will set it off if you mention it. I am not here to dispute the legitimacy of this website, as legally these people have to provide you what they advertise but in exchange you must follow their instructions to the point or else you will get nothing, and you can't do anything about it. In summary: They will find any way possible to rip you off and not give you "free membership". This website is not monitored or controlled by Club Penguin or Miniclip, we have nothing to do with them, we cannot (and will not) offer "support" for their services, and we do not promote them.
The people posting these links are worthless spammers and are no better than the auto-accounts you see posting about free shoes and designer X-Boxes or whatever it is they try to hawk. Do not support these spammers by clicking their links. Do not visit this website. Each link they post as a unique user ID, and they are not here to be productive members of the forums, they are here to use you. Do not fall for their tricks, please report these users and a Moderator will deal with them accordingly (we take them outside and whack them with a wooden bat until they pass out). Posting a link to this website in any way, shape, or form is grounds for an immediate Permaban from these forums. Here is a fantastic list of reasons as to why you should not be using this service: 1) Your email inbox WILL be spammed to hell and back. Simply by signing up to this website you may be receiving endless spam emails about "new offers" and "new surveys" and "coupons" and every other spam list in the known universe. The more of these bogus "offers" that you fill out for "points", the more spam you will get. It is entirely possible that this spam will render your email account USELESS because you will be unable to find important email messages in the swamp of V1AGR4 ads and knock off Rolex watches. 2) These websites collect personally identifiable information. Not only do you have to be 18 for most of these websites and offers, they collect personally identifiable information from you including your full name, street address (where you live), your telephone number, and in some instances your credit card information. The "security" of these websites is rather dubious, submitting your information to them can easily be intercepted and stolen by hackers. 3) These websites are full of adware and malware (and possibly viruses). Regardless of any claims that they may say about "100% adware free", if you are prompted to install any program (or even worse if it does it automatically) your computer will be blown wide open for all kinds of adware downloaders, malware, and possibly computer viruses. 4) Regardless of what the MAIN website says about safety, the "offer" sites are not safe. McAffee SiteAdvisor, an Internet security service, frequently lists these "survey" and "offer" websites as "RED - High Alert, Unsafe, Unsecure, Adware Detected". This is the highest possible warning flag that a website can be assigned and they ALL have this rating. The main site that lists all of these offers may be safe, but they are not legally responsible for the content on their offer pages, and these pages are dangerous to your computer, especially ones asking you to install trial software. This is a proven fact. So now let me ask you something, is this "free" membership really worth it? No, it is not. Membership for Club Penguin is not cheap, but it is not incredibly expensive either. Directly support the games and companies you love SAFELY and have mom or dad (or yourself if you are old enough) pay for a membership using Club Penguin's 100% secure and hacker-proof website. Your personal details will be safe, your computer will be safe, and everyone will be happy. Remember, there is no such thing as "free", someone has to pay for it.
