Where and when do you catch the red chain pokemon?

Well the title says it all where and when am I able to catch them? I mean I'm at the elite four are they after them?

What is "Red Chain Pokemon"? I don't understand what your saying.

Go to the middle of the lakes go into the cave and you will battle them. Mesprit runs. You have to find that pokemon in Sinnoh some where. I hope this helps!

you don't need to finish the elite four, you can get them in the 3 lakes, after you beat Mars in one of the lakes the water level rises and you'll be able to swim to the caves.

Thanks I found one but I didn't have a strong enough pokeball, and does anyone have a map of victory road? I need it because I forgot to save before I cut my game off at the elite four.

If you check out gamespot.com, they have plenty of guides with instructions through Victory Road (that and when I couldn't find Rock Climb were the only times I got help)

The three red-chain pokemon (lake spirits) are found in their respective lakes after you free them from cyrus at the veilstone galactic HQ. The pokemon with their correct lakes are listed here:
Azelf (lake valor)
Uxie (lake acuity)

Mespirit is the hardest lake spirit to catch. When you see it in lake verity, it will show you its pokedex picture and will fly away. You can track it with the marking map poketch app. NOTE: Mespirit's location changes when you go to a different route, building or fly.
