(4/22/08) - Who You Are Makes A Difference - The Blue Ribbon Story

Hi,

Well, I recieved an e-mail from a friend of mine that linked to a site that contained a video called "Who I Am Makes A Difference", this is what it was about:

A teacher in New York decided to honor her each of her students in High School by telling each of them a difference they had made. She called each student to the front of the class, one at a time. First, she told each of them how they made a difference to her and the class. Then she presented each of them with a Blue Ribbon, imprinted in gold letters, which read, "Who I Am Makes A Difference."

I wanted to share this with all of you to tell each of you that you all make a difference in someway or another, whether it be by something you say, something you do, or whatever, you all make a difference. So take some time to watch this video and share it with other people you know.

I think it is a great story.

Although by the time it goes internet I feel it is much less personal. Kinda like chain mail

But, it doesn't hurt to know that someone out there looks up and admires you.

Awesome, Balla.....just awesome. This is a way to "Pay it Forward." I don't know if anyone has heard that term. It means that if someone gives you a compliment or does something nice for you, don't try to pay it back to that person. Instead, pay it forward to someone else. You know, pass the good thoughts along.

Nice Story. It's sad how kids want to take their own lives because they feel like no one cares about them. That project saved that kid's life, and it made me feel good that someone wasnt lost like that.

That was a very touching and inspirational video. Thank you for passing along that message to us.

I do believe that just a couple kind words make all the difference in our lives. It's great to know that people out there are making a difference.

I'll be sure to pass the message on to other people.

This story reminds me that the little things we do, can really make an impact.
