My First Herbert

Here's my first attempt at this character. If anything's kinda sloppy or inaccurate, I drew the outline in under 5 minutes(much less time than I normally put into drawings) and only used his mix & match figure as a reference.

8/10. Herbert's arm is wobbly, and it's really pixelated.

Thanks for the comment and pointing out the arms; I'd missed that. As for the pixelation- that is virtually out of my control unless I use Flash, which I don't have the money to purchase..nor do I wish to download it illegally.

Hebert's left arm needs to be thicker, it appears to thin for the rest of his structure. Your portrait also lacks contrast. If Herbert were against a darker background it really make him "pop".

Your line-form is quite refined.

Ah, ok. The skinny structure of that arm is the result of using the figure as a reference. His figure's arms are thin from the shoulder to the elbow, then extend into large palms(which are off-view in my drawing). I'll have to get an actual picture of him to check the accuracy of the figure on. lol
