Christmas party 2009?

I know it's early, but the November parties are usually never any good, so I'd like to ask: What do you think this year's Christmas party will be like?

Based on what I've seen from the Halloween party, I'd say there'll be lots of cool new stuff to do, more items, and like in almost every party, a member only room. As far as the theme goes I'm hoping it's the 2007 theme, because that was always really fun.

2006:
In the newspaper, we all got to buy a new 50 coin pin, the Christmas Tree Pin, to help decorate the Christmas tree that stood in the Plaza where the Theatre is now:

I'm hoping that this year, the Christmas Party will be the best yet. I hope to see more varied decorations and many new free items.

My hopes for the Christmas party are always very high. After seeing this year's Halloween party, I am not worried about it being bad. I hope to see the return of the snow tunnels again. I had this idea for a "gift giving" process. There's a catalog with cheap little clothing items that you can give to your friends.

I'm hoping that the November party won;t be overlooked this year, because x-mas is consistently quality.

I hope we get new stuff. The Christmas Party is always one of my favourites.

New items would be cool, I hope they release the Santa Suit from the Series 5 Treasure Book into the clothing catalog.

I can't wait to get my Christmas igloo ready, either.

Christmas 2007 was my favourite one. The old-fashioned theme had really given it a cosy, warm kind of feeling. I hope to see something similar as Christmas 2007 party is one of my favourite parties.

My favorite Christmas party was 2006. It was my first party and decor was awesome.

Personally, I didn't like the 2007 party. The music was terrible and the decor was bland, IMO. If I recall correctly, most people here disliked that party, too.

If anyone is interested, my igloo is still decorated for last year's Christmas contest. I'll open it up a few times as a sort of "Christmas at CP preview". I would recommend it for new penguins, who have never been around for a CP Christmas.
