Well in the comic I believe, Spider-Man brought it back on accident from some war that he fought on an alien planet. So when he returned the alien symbiote costume connected itself with
Peter and "boom!" there's the black costume for ya'. Venom gets weak when he hears bells ringing is because the bell is very loud. It's not Venom especially just the symbiote. Because
the symbiote has like incredible hearing or something. Same as Carnage. Not that I'm a comic geek or anything.

I wish Venom had been there a lot longer. He was the coolest villain. Sandman was kinda lame. And I don't get the ending with the funeral. Whose funeral was it: Venom's or Harry's? I thought it was Harry's, but then why was Gwen there? And if it was Venom's, why was the butler there? I doubt they buried both in the same grave. Plus, I agree with the producers of that Broadway show. Kirsten Dunst's voice stinks!
