how come clubpenguin is populer i remember when runescape was so populer when i played then i wuit and came to clubpenguin and there were way more people witch leads up to slower things im just wondering why is it all about advertising or is it about it is a nice game with free online stuff to do ancer me.

Club Penguin does have advertisements on television, and I can guess that they have more kinds of advertisements in Canada. Another thing might be that when one person finds out, they might tell their friend, who tells their friend, etc.

The only advertising CP has, is its own players.

People that like CP usually tell their friends and it continues to get bigger and bigger.

Club Penguin players have advertised Club Penguin themselves, if you think about it... Actually, the only "real" advertising Club Penguin has is the selling of their clothes. People walking around with their logo on their shirts/hats is technically advertising.

I found out about Club Penguin from my friend, who heard it from her cousin who lives in Canada. They don't have advertisments on television, buit they have articles in magazines and in newspapers.
But it was mostly spread by word. Cool, isn't it?

I couldn't find any. I searched 'Club Penguin Advertisments,' 'Club Penguin in the news,' 'Club Penguin on TV,' and some news channels (Ex. CNN- Club Penguin). I know this because there have been several threads that I've seen that said, " I was watching the news and they were talking about Club Penguin."
