I think I have a good answer. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though. I think Why mammoth is so popular is because it's discussed in just about every wordpress/forum/piczo that I have seen so far. I remember when Paintboy100 started his wordpress, Mammoth wasn't an extremely popular server. So yeah, online publicity is my guess. ;)

Well, some forumers started going there, so others followed. The server Frozen is becoming populated too.

Idk, Ever since I started CP I always went one either winter land or mammoth. I dont know why. It was before I even knew about forums. Its like they stand out somehow.

I'm not exactly sure, but I'm going to jump on a ledge here. I believe that "mammoth" was one of the first servers ever incorperated into CP. That is just my guess.

well, some servers needa be popular...Its basically a Janitor that finds poo on the hall floor and 5 peoples starin at it, and he holds out the mop saying "Well, somebodys gotta do it.."

It's because Vital Viper started going there. Once Vital was there, everyone was there. Forumers followed him and it just became the forum's most popular server.

When "popular" people tend to go to a certain server (Vital and Paintboy100), other people tend to go there, to have a better chance at meeting and becoming buddies. When the famous people start to drift and not play anymore, those fans stick to the server in hopes of them comming back.

Usually when "Old Penguins" go on those servers the word spreads and everyone goes on them.

Basicly, popular people go to these servers and everyon follows. I think Canada and Australia should have there own popular servers. :)

LOL! I didn't even know Vital and what's his face even existed now all i hear is Vital this, what's his face that. :O By the way I have no clue why Mammoth was ever so populated. It made me majorly sick for a long period of time. (From all the nasty.)

Well there are diverse reasons why mammoth became popular. One is we keep talking about it. Penguins that are more known then the average mostly go there and it is always used in videos. As far as I know. You might find more, but I think most of the reasons where mentioned here in this thread!
