It seems is that American Idol is turning into a popularity contest. I mean, how else do you think sanjaya stays in!? Do you agree?

Im sorry but i dissagree with you. I actually find Sanjaya is one of the best on the show. Just my thoughts

Well, you see my abscent minded friends Howard Stern told people to vote for Sanjaya Malakar as a joke. He wasn't popular at all.

NEWSFLASH

American Idol has always been a popularity contest. What has happened to the people that won? I haven't heard anything about them. The system itself is evidence of it being a popularity contest. The more votes a person has than thats more people watching the show becuse of that singer. Who ever has less people watching the show for them is droped. If Sanjaya has lots of people watching the show for him than it dosn't matter what he sings like. American Idol has never been about singing, it has been about who America likes most. Logically with as many seasons as they have gone through they were going to run out of talent anyway. I think American Idol should wait longer between seasons if they are worried about their image. But they are probably just going to run it into the ground because there is more money in it that way. As long as people still watch it and talk about it then they are still going to have the show.

:O I think everyone is sooo mean to Sanjaya, he is a really good singer!! And I think he should not have been voted off... People... WHAT WERE U THINKING SANJAYA RULES!! Anywho, I don't think it's a
popularity caontest at all. I disagree with you 100%!!!:P
