Is there anyway I can eliminate a post I make.
Or somehow that I can close my own thread.
If there is please let me know.

Report your post and say, "Can a mod please delete this?"

Only mods and admins can delete posts and threads, or lock them.
If you want me to lock a thread or post of yours, either report the post/thread and say you want it locked, or post the post here, but you should usually just report the thread.

There is no way to delete your own posts, however you can report them, and ask in the report applyment to delete it.
I hope i helped you somehow ;)

You can't close or delete your own thread. Only moderators&administrators have the power to do it.
Of course, you can edit your thread or post that you made. With the edit button, which you can find bottom right from your post. If you asked a question in your thread and the question was answered, you have to report your own post and say ''The question was answered, thread can be closed now'' or if you don't want the thread anymore ask a moderator to lock it.

On Penguin Posters, you can't lock your own threads, but you can delete your own posts if you accidentally posted something. I like that, and I think it should be here, too. That way, if you make a rule-breaking post, you can just delete it to correct yourself (e.g., you didn't know insert word here was a swear word, and want to delete the entire post because you don't want someone to report you for something you thought would be OK.)
