The X of Yesterday Isn’t the X of Today
Friday 23 - 3:00 a.m.
Ponchowinz woke up in his igloo. It was really dark, he couldn’t see a thing, his two puffles, Rocky I and Rocky II, were sleeping, he got a matchstick, lit up a candle and went to the town. He knew it was the perfect time to do what he had planned.
For two week now, he had been hiding a treasure map he found in an old dusty book at the Book Room Library.
The map pointed somewhere near the Light House Beacon, but every time he went over there he would find many penguins that wouldn’t let him search for what the X in the map pointed.
This was the perfect time.
Friday 23 - 6:00 a.m.
Ponchowinz had been searching for over 3 hours and he still hadn’t find anything regarding the treasure. He was tired and he wanted to go back to bed, but he couldn’t get his mind off the treasure. He thought of being the richest penguin in Club Penguin and he thought of the new igloo and clothing he’d buy. With that in mind he kept searching.
Friday 23 - 8:30 a.m.
After 5 hours of looking in The Beach, The Ski Village and The Dock he finally gave up. He got all his treasure hunting stuff and went back to his igloo and went to bed.
Friday 23 - 12:30 p.m.
Ponchowinz woke up and went to the Town where he had accorded to meet some friends. He looked at the clock, he was early, but as he passed through the Snow Forts he saw the Club Penguin clock and exclaimed, “Oh no! I forgot to synchronize my clock with the Club Penguin one, I’m late by hours!” He ran as fast as he could to the Town, but when he arrived his friends were already gone.
Friday 23 - 4:44 p.m.
Ponchowinz was sad he didn’t get on time, so he just decided to play Thin Ice, in which he just figured out how to complete all the game, after that he just went for some coffee at the Coffee Shop, played some Mancala in the Book Room, and at the end he just sat and he took a look at the old dusty book where he found the map.
Friday 23 -7:58 p.m.
After 3 hours with the book he finally found why he wouldn’t find the treasure.
There was a paragraph that read “And so by, me Sir Penguinlot, leave my treasure for the first penguin to find it. August 28, 2005.” The map was made before Club Penguin was ready for everyone to come in and play. Ponchowinz had been using the measures of the actual Club Penguin without realizing the map used the measures of an older Club Penguin. The X really pointed his own igloo.
He went home fed the puffles and dug until he finally found the buried treasure, with which he realized his dream of living in a castle igloo and being the richest penguin around.
