Chances are it's a layer with an alpha channel with 50% alpha on the penguin. The rest of the layer is 0% alpha.

Go to Window>Layers.
Now you should see something like this:

Opacity: 100%

Take the 100% down to the opacity of your choice. If you have an old photoshop then it might not work.

Is that why you made your penguin so small? Because the picture you gave is not going to look good. So you can just meet me on Club Penguin and I will take a picture of your player card, align your penguin in the middle, but not small. Then I will put your text on the right.

Yes i do all you need is a background and penguin change the opacity of the penguin and stoke the text (brushwood) black but the original color was white
