I have powerpoint 2003 but how do I make edits?

Can someone please help me? (Especially QAZAR) I have powerpoint but I don't know how to make edits. I wanna know BAD! P.S. How do you make pixel penguins?

I wouldn't recommend Power Point for doing edits. Paint is the best thing you can use, because its simple and comes with your computer. To get to paint:

>>Start>>All Programs>>Accessories>>Paint

Power Point is for making slide shows. The only way you can edit on Power Point is cropping the image, and maybe recolor the image.

Paint you can draw right on your image and fill in the parts of the image you want.

Sorry, I'm not the best with editing, I only know a little,

I use powerpoint to put scenes together and to draw my own pics.

Like my avy and sig, they were made using powerpoint and paint.

I use paint to isolate pics from the game, then I put them together in powerpoint.

I then save the scene from powerpoint as a PNG.

I also make things in powerpoint from scratch, this can be done by using the line tools, gradient tools, and shape tools.

how I made my avy:

Made the puffles in powerpoint using line tools
cropped the sprite of my penguin in paint, made the background green.
pasted the sprite into powerpoint and made the green transparent (like a green screen)
got a picture of an igloo and putr it behind everything in powerpoint.

I did teh same thing for my signature, just isolate the things you want in paint, and give them a background color. Then in powerpoint make the background transparent and put it all together.

I would NOT use MS Powerpoint to do edits. I would start off with paint if you have Windows. Go to start, progams, accesories and find paint. Expierment with that.

Oh I see. Yes, if you want to make a moving picture Power Point is probobly your best "free" bet. It also does have grids and line tools that are very helpful. I guess they both work.;)

Oh, well I also use Power Point to link my images together and stuff, but I just do my main edits in Paint.

Also, My friend made a avvy move by using Power Point, So thats where I got the whole "moving images" thing

the tools in powerpoint are like the ones in flash, but if you just want to put objects together from teh game, as opossed to making something yourself paint can go a long way.

I recomend using GIMP,its an editing program and its a million times better than paint.

GIMP is the best. I use it and its awesome. Adobe Photoshop isnt that good so beware!

You have to download these things anyway.

Powerpoint is hard to make edits on. I'd suggest using GIMP, Paint, Photoshop, ect... Not many people can become like Qazar and his edits.

wow, i had paint this whole time and i never knew that it was best for making edits. i also have power point too. maybe i should go experiment with them right now...

I do pretty much the same thing but with photoshop. I put the penguin in paint and size the image then I use photoshop for edits and everything else.
