Spitting on the ground

I always see a lot of people at school (mostly guys) spitting on the ground for no apparent reason. I spit on the ground too every once in a while usually because I have a bad taste in my mouth. Sometimes a few guys will have spitting contests to see who can spit the farthest. They must be really bored. :scootz:

My question is: do you ever spit on the ground? I bet every girl who replies to this thread is gonna say no because I've never seen a girl spit on the ground before, but I might be wrong.

I usually spit after I get done running or during a baseball game. After I run, the spit in my mouth is really sticky and it's not a very pleasant feeling so I just spit all of it out on the ground. Or sometimes when I have gunk in my throat I'll cough a few times and spit it out.

I am always seeing people spit; equally girls and boys. I only spit when I feel sick and I have to get some spit out of my mouth. Even then, I do it when no one is looking.

If I have an extremely bad taste in my mouth I will spit on the ground or in a waste basket.

It still disgusts me though, which why I only spit if it's an emergency.

When I'm done running or exhausted after phys. ed, I do spit on the ground occasionally. Am I the only girl who's gonna say yes? Haha. But either way, I don't do it a lot at all.

No, but my friends do. I hit them when they do it. I find it gross and disgusting. People could step on it after.

I don't usually. I have done it in the past for no particular reason, but I think it's gross. Like if you spit in the grass and someone sits on it or something.

Yes, I do. But only whenever I'm out at family's houses, but they all live in the country, so its really normal. Its a habit, I guess. I mean, I don't get why people say its gross .. It's spit.

No, I don't spit and if I do its either in a bin or something. I see alot of boys and girls at my school do it, and it makes me feel sick.

I only spit if I really want to get something out of my mouth, otherwise I never spit. When I do I typically try to avoid doing it somewhere public.

Actually, there is a few girls at my school who do spit, but at least they do into a garbage can and not onto the ground.
