I'm sure you've all heard of the popular game show, are you smarter than a 5th grader. If not, here's how my version is going to work.

I. Basics:
Your goal is to reach the big $1,000,000 question, the chart is as such:
1 $1,000
2 $2,000
3 $5,000
4 $10,000
5 $25,000
6 $50,000
7 $100,000
8 $175,000
9 $300,000
10 $500,000
Bonus (11) $1,000,000

For every two questions you get a "Penguin", the penguins can help you on your questions. You can choose to "Peek" at their answer, "Copy" their answer, or they can save you (You get the answer wrong, but they get it right). You get one of each of these lifelines.

II. Gameplay

To start the game, you will choose your first classmate, then you will be shown a board with questions rated from Egg to Full-Grown (Easy to Hard), each with a specific human school subject (Who likes those guys, there all killing us!) Then you just keep going to you lose, switching classmates every two questions. (Note: You do NOT get one for the $1,000,000). Also, at any time you can choose to "Jump" and leave the game with what you've earned.

III. How do I get chosen?
After the forum is open, I will take applications for being a Penguin, and for being a newbie penguin for two days. Then I will review applications, choose the 5 Penguin's (and 1 backup), then will aim to have 3-5 games done a week until the end of the month! If I don't pick you to be a Penguin, don't get down I'm going to try and pick the most active members that apply so we won't have to wait days for the game to continue.

IV. Won't it be difficult to have the Penguin post their answer?
I'm hoping not, my plan is to play the game just between me and the newbie, and then whenever they ask for a peek, the classmate will be able to respond quickly.

V. FAQ's: Just ask a question, and I'll answer it here
-Q: Are the questions actually about school? We all get enough of that five days a week. I don't think many people will find this "fun".
-A: The questions will not be about school directly, but they will consist of things such as World Geography, Math, Social Studies, Science, English and such. True, we do go to school 5 days a week, but if you research Steve Green and Raulca's Who wants to be a millionare? You will find that a lot of people had fun doing that in spite of the knowledge questions.
-Q: This could easily be cheated on. All it takes is a simple google search to get the answers.
-A: True, we will be operating on an honor roll. Such as in the Who Wants to be a Millionare above, it will be clear when someone cheated, and I'm thinking of asking Draco if we can make a special (Embarrassing) rank for anyone who we are sure cheated.
-Q: Not everybody would be included.
-A: I will attempt to get everyone that signs up a game to play.

I think this idea is ok. I have a few concerns:
1: Are the questions actually about school? We all get enough of that five days a week. I don't think many people will find this "fun".
2: This could easily be cheated on. All it takes is a simple google search to get the answers.
3: Not everybody would be included.

I am going to respond to your answers.
Your answer:
The questions will not be about school directly, but they will consist of things such as World Geography, Math, Social Studies, Science, English and such. True, we do go to school 5 days a week, but if you research Steve Green and Raulca's Who wants to be a millionare? You will find that a lot of people had fun doing that in spite of the knowledge questions.

My response: World Geography, Math, Social Studies, Science and English aren't directly school related? That is exactly the stuff we learn about in school.
And the who wants to be a millionaire? game had questions that had to do with everything, not just school related questions.

Your answer: True, we will be operating on an honor roll. Such as in the Who Wants to be a Millionare above, it will be clear when someone cheated, and I'm thinking of asking Draco if we can make a special (Embarrassing) rank for anyone who we are sure cheated.

My response: May I ask how it will be clear to see if somebody cheated? That's like saying if somebody get's all the answers right they have to be cheating, while they could just have knowledge.
The embarrassing rank is a good idea.

Your answer: I will attempt to get everyone that signs up a game to play.

My response: As long as you try to include everybody, I suppose this could work.

Games that can be cheated at all are never fun. But if you somehow come up with a way to make it completely un-cheatable, its a great idea.

It could be MCCP Trivia that you can't search and you have to know. :P

1. Sorry, misunderstood the question :D
2. It's clear when there getting the hard questions with very little shown effort, such as the person in millionare managed to name the amount of muscles in a cat's ear within 30 seconds.
3. That's the goal ;)

That's the one true problem I will admit

While I do like that idea with questions, your going to run out of questions pretty fast.
