GAME TIME
Sunday, October 11
4:15PM EST

Last meeting:
In the 2005 season-opener, Byron Leftwich passed for 252 yards and two touchdowns as the Jaguars knocked off the Seahawks, 26-14.

Streaks:
The Seahawks have won three of the five all-time meetings.

Last week:
Jacksonville crushed winless Tennessee, 37-17, to even its record at 2-2. ... Seattle was never able to gather any sort of momentum against the Colts in a 34-17 blowout loss.

Keep your eye on ...

Matt Hasselbeck's availability: With Hasselbeck out the past two weeks, the Seahawks have struggled to find any sort of offensive rhythm. His return would give a boost to a Seattle team mired in a three-game losing skid.

Seattle's pass defense: In the past two weeks, the Seahawks have allowed Jay Cutler and Peyton Manning to shred their secondary. While Jacksonville's David Garrard may not have the name recognition of Cutler or Manning, he has played extremely well over the past two weeks and is fully capable of burning Seattle if it does not improve its coverage.

Derek Cox's development: The Jaguars' rookie cornerback out of William and Mary has been a revelation. He had an interception last week against Tennessee and made a highlight-reel hit on Titans WR Nate Washington. He already has 21 tackles, three passes defensed and two interceptions this year.

Did you know?

The Jaguars are 17-4 when rushing for 150-plus yards since 2006. ... Jacksonville RB Maurice Jones-Drew has 45 total touchdowns in 51 games. ... Seahawks RB Edgerrin James is the NFL's active leader in rush yards with 12,180. ... Seattle TE John Carlson has a touchdown catch in four of his past five home games.
