Anyone else find the irony of working on Labor Day?

Fortunately I got off early, took a nice long nap *yawn*

Played some poker with friends from work.

Grilled out and ate some pork chops OM NOM NOM

Now I'm just hanging out and checking in on the forums.

Today, I basically laughed at my brother for having to go to school tommorow, got extremely hyper, calmed down, got hyper again, realized that I had a baby, and stalked a hot actor. Yeah, my day was pretty intense. XP
The rest of the day is probably going to be me on the computer, and watching the news. XD

Oh, and fun fact: Did you know that I blush while looking at photos of guys. S:

Today my dad had me help him fix the bird feeder, leaf blow our patio, and trim some flowers. It was easy, but it was still work :P. The only other things I did today was go on the computer pretty much. We cooked burgers for dinner too.

My day was pretty much like my summer/weekend days. Through I did need hooray three day weekend from school. :)

Haha, I see. Well, when we went to take my girlfriend home just a little while ago it was pouring the entire way there... my dad took the wrong way in the parking lot of a gas station, as well. But all in all it was a good day.

Some neighbors from down the road had a bonfire in the middle of the street (which was sort of a dead end anyways), and invited anyone who wanted to have a nice time. I went for a few hours, which was nice because I met up with a few friends. It turned out that there was a block party, and a bunch of rides had been rented for fun.
Though, due to my injury, I couldn't go on most of the rides, it was a great experience to be with friends before school started.
I went to the mall also, to get a first day of school outfit. Nothing very eventful, except if you count the soda machine giving me two orange sodas, then giving my money back.
The bonfire started back up about an hour ago, and I went again to build the fire stronger with my friends. Then some fireworks were set off, and a few fun contests were held in exchange for prizes. I didn't win any, of course, but it was a nice end of the summer event.

Bleh, I never do anything fun for any holidays at all. I went to a party yesterday, but it was lame because none of the parties I ever go to EVER have anyone my age. Seriously. Not. One. Person. All of them are either 8 years old or lower, or too old to talk to without this coming up...

Bleh. Oh well. I can never hang out with anyone, really. I'm a black sheep in my entire bloodline anyways, so yeah.

Hah, I was working all day on a powerpoint presentation I delivered today. The presentation was about Muslim philosopher. Pretty boring, but I was working on that thing for 3 days strait. Luckily all went well. :D

I know how you feel. There is a big gap in my family cousin wise. So there are over 5 years above and below me age wise before the next group of kids. Ironically being the 'goodies two shoes' of the bunch seems to have made ME the black sheep. Or possibly the only white one? idk how that analogy is suppose to shift :P

As for the 'school' convo I get it ALL the time. It is annoying because i don't know what I want to do, and it is like they expect me to.
