Well, I've played PS2 before, and I hate the controler. It's so ugly, and the layout of the thumsticks is really crapy, AND the shape is horrible. Post your opinion here.

You have no idea how great the PS2 remote is. It's very simple, so anyone can catch on.

It's a controller, it doesn't need to look good.

Well the handle (Or whatever you call it) doesn't go with the thumbstick, creating an ache in the hand when you try lay your thumb on it. I can pick up and controler and my hands will lay naturaly on it, but with the PS2 controler, it just doesn't work.

Its mainly not about looking good.

Same as above. Any ways PS2 sucks itself too, but I won't get into the argument.

Why does everyone think its all about the looks? Anyways, I don't own a PS2. Just a big waste of money.

I like the Xbox Controller way more.
Does it really matter how the controller
looks though?
If you think the PS2 controller is bad,
then just look at the gamecube controller.

Its mainly not about the looks. The gamecube controler is ok, but it's too small.
EDIT: So sorry for double post! I wasn't thinking and I was going to edit my other post! Sorry!
What really matters is the Game not the controller.
But the game sucks too, and how you play the game depends on the controler.

Well you shouldn't really base controllers on how they look (Exept Gamecube). But For me It was Super easy to get A hold on, Took less than maybe 20 seconds

Nah, I can hold that better than the PS2. You just put you hands on the two most right handle with your left thumb on the thumbstick.
The PS3 is way worse. Pathetic peace of big hardware.
I've never seen a PS3 controler...
I look at the gameplay, not the controller.
The controler is what the game depends on. If it sucks, then it's hard to play the game.

I've never seen a PS3 controler...That's not what I was talking about. But the PS3 controller is basically a PS2 controller with pathetic motion sensing and no rumble. So yeah. It's worse.

First, who cares about how the controller looks? Why would you waste time staring at the controller when you could be playing a game?
Second, I see no problem with the thumb sticks, you might just be used to using an Xbox controller
Third, The last time I checked, all console controllers were shaped basically the same what do you mean by shape?
Fourth, WHO CARES? A CONTROLLER DOESN'T SELL A CONSOLE!
P.S. learn to spell

Maybe I'm used to Xbox, but I'm not sure. Also, I made few typos in controller and tumbstick. So what? I type fast.

The PS2 probably has the best controller of that video game generation. All the buttons are nicely organized.
The XBox controller is too big and the GameCube controller has too many buttons in different places.

The XBox controller is also way to big and the Gamecube controller has too many buttons that aren't needed.

The triggers were nice, but I like the feel whenever you move the joysticks around.
