Making Friends.

When you played/play Club Penguin, how do you make friends? Do you just send friend requests to random penguins and never talk to them afterwards, or do you actually strike up a conversation with someone?

I used to send requests to people that I thought looked cool, but I realized that they weren't really my friend so no point in adding them. When making friends, I try to get to know them before I actually force them into adding me. When I get to know someone, it helps me remember them.

Its better talking to someone first then be their buddy, rather than just sending a request/accepting a request then they log off a few minutes later, without talking to you

I stopped to ask for friends in April 2009...whatever, they`d log out, and will forget about me.

I get to know them, and then add them if they're fun.

I cleared out my friends list a few days ago of all the people I didn't know, or who were inactive. I now have like 76/100 friends.

I reject any random friend requests, unless I know them.

From a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG long time ago, in a galaxy far away, when it first started, I began talking to one person. Then eventually we became friends on there and started hanging out with their buds. And the chain grew.

I just accept any friend requests that come my way. If I need to, I delete penguins who have no items on (and probably don't play anymore).

My first friend on CP ( and maybe my last met though the actual game and not blogs) and I met the first night I played and played sled racing about 6 times. Unfortunetly I un added them a few months later.

I was only adding the people I knew. :P It is so useless to have friends that you never ever talk.

People just send me request i usually have a lot of space so i add them, and we eventually start talking.

I talk with them for a while, and then I will ask to be there buddy. I really haven't added any friends since mid 2008. Most of the friends I have are inactive, about 98% of them. Most of them are older users, around 2005-2006. When I ask someone who is older, I don't really care about their items. I just want to be friends. And, I have made some great friends in the process. Older users sure are a lot nicer then newer ones.
