Ok, I've had my penguin for two years now. And I recently saw something on you tube where this dude wanted an email from you so he could give you a free penguin, or something like that...
Well my friend said this guy could hack me.. I have A few scenarios that would make this impossible:
How would get my I.P. from an email?
I didn't use the email registered under my penguin..
So I deleted the Save Files for media.clubpenguin.com hoping it would delete all traces of my penguin on my I.P.
So, one question for you guys, How do I save my penguin? or Am I at risk at all?:mod:

I'm not too sure of what you're saying, but the whole thing seems a little risky. Anything that sounds too good to be true on YouTube, probably is. It's just all scams and stuff.
I'm sure if you elaborate more on your question, we can help you further with your concerns.
For now though, you may find this thread on how to keep your penguin safe interesting:

Just use common sense, don't give away any details or anything. I'm sure he can't get your penguin by giving him an e-mail that you didn't use to create your penguin. Club Penguin hackers are usually all mouth and they just talk about it but never really do anything about it.

So thanks for the reassurance blingstr. I know I few CP Hackers, and they mainly either phish or get emails. which neither I have been in contact with, or given out

Well, if they get a hold of your email password, they can request to make a new password for your penguin, and it will be sent to that email, to which they have access too.
Overall, I strongly suggest you don't play around with anything you're not too sure of. You don't know what some people are capable of. ;)
