Ever since you were little, you knew there was something wrong with you. You were considered a 'gifted kid', a kid that had some type of power or was part animal. Your parents began to think you weren't even their kid and they dropped you off at an old orphanage for the gifted. You see, this wasn't the type of orphanage where you could sit and relax while waiting for a home. You were practically slaves. All the orphans had to stay in the cold, dark basement. You would be lucky if you even got a morsel to eat. Will you escape? Get a nice home? Or will you be stuck here forever?

Miranda slowley opened her eyes and sat up. She had to sleep on the cold, hard floor with only a thin blanket underneath her. She stretched a little and yawned. Her yawns usually sounded like 'Nyaaaaaa', considering she was a cat. She looked at everyone else who was asleep.

Kristen was awakened by a cat's yawn. She sat up, surprised. The lamp in the room shot across the room and smashed into the wall. "Oh God. Oops." She muttered under her breath.

Miranda sighed and quickly walked over to the now broken lamp. "Well, 'he' hasn't been down here in ages. He probably doesn't even know there was a lamp" she said, picking up some of the peices and threw them into the small garbage.

Miranda was starving. She thought about stealing food.. She couldn't. The master would catch her. She walked upstairs and grabbed a sponge. She began to scrub the tile floor.

"Hi do you need any help?" Ben said to Miranda.

"No. Master wouldn't like it if someone had help. You should know." Miranda said, continuing to scrub.

"why would that be?The master would get his/her job done quicker!"Said Ben

Ben took a sponge and started scrubbing the floor anyway.

"I don't care if the master gets in a mood at me for this at least I've got something to do."

"You'll get a beating." Kristen murmured, glancing at her own bruises. "How long have we been here?" Kristen wondered. Hours? Days? Weeks? Years, perhaps? The days all seemed to blend into each other.

"I don't know how long we've been here but I think it's been too long!We need to make a escape out of here once and for all!We could use our powers to help us."Ben Shouted to Kristen and Miranda.

Albert walked out of the basement and began cleaning out underneath the refrigerator "Morning" he said to Ben, Kristin and Miranda

"Shut up Ben!" Miranda yelled and smacked him. "Do you really want the master to know that we are trying to escape?"

"We can escape using our powers though!If we make a plan and work together we could get out!Besides it won't be that difficult it's only a building!Well whos with me?We can make a stand and get a home a real life like all the NORMAL people did.We have to show we have rights!!!"Ben shouted to everyone

"That's the thing, Ben. We're obviously not normal." Kristen said, annoyed. She slammed her fist down, angry, and sent a bucket of soapy water flying at the wall with a giant amount of force (by accident). She cursed under her breath and sent a towel to dry up the wall with her mental power.

"Ben! You are an idiot! You don't say things like that here! He probably already heard you." Miranda sighed. Footsteps were heard. "Crap.." Miranda began to work as hard as she could. The master slapped Ben across the face. "There will be no escaping."

Albert was silently listening to what the others were saying while he vaporized the dirty underneath the fridge. when the master left he said "Ben is right, but we need to talk about this later"

Miranda sighed. She looked out the window and noticed a couple walking up to the orphanage. "Guys, there is someone here.. Maybe we can get adopted." Miranda said. They rang the doorbell and the master greeted them to come in. Miranda thought the couple seemed a little disgusted with the bunch. She overheard their conversation. "Sorry, we do not have any 'little' children." the master had said to them. The couple left.

[Ohff]

Albert said "Even if they had wanted one of us, the would have only wanted ONE of us" he said as he vaporized a dust bunny

" Yea, Your right." Melissa sighed.

[Kailey]

"It sounds like they wanted a younger kid though." Miranda said. She finished scrubbing the cold tile and began to clean of some dirty dishes.

" Yea, It stinks." Melissa looked over to see them leaving. " Well i guess that it. We need to escape." Melissa said in a hushed voice.

Albert finished cleaning under the fridge so he began to clean under the stove

Albert vaporized a fist full of fallen cereal "Disgusting" he murmured "You get it one day" he said to Melissa

Melissa looked under the couch for stuff to throw away " Eww what is that stuff?!" Melissa screached.

Albert rushed over to look at what Melissa had "Yuck" he said then "Allow me to help you" and he vaporized the mystery substance. Then he went back to the stove

" Thanks, I think it had mold growing on it." Melissa said discusted.

"Yes I believe it was mold" Albert said. He finished under the stove so he went and cleaned under the armchair near the couch.

((Guys, the place isn't THAT dirty so stop acting like it is. And the master does know we have powers. It's pretty obvious, considering Miranda has cat ears and a cat tail.))

Miranda had finished her chores for the day. She looked outside. Sometimes when they had finished their chores, the master would allow them to go roam around outside.

Albert stood up done with his chores and wondered what he should do now

Vincent saw a puddle on the floor. "Freeze, Ryuu." Vincent pulled his hand up and a snake like dragon came through the puddle as Vincent grabbed onto him, it turned and took him to the top of the treehouse. The dragon the shattered and Reversed back into the puddle

"For now, Ryuu." He sunk back into the puddle.

"Owe.What was that for.We could all get freedom and all escape and you can't stop me.I will be taking the consequences not you and I don't care.This has nothing to do with you!"Ben shouted at Ryuu at the top of his voice.He carried on trying to climb over the fence.

"RYUU!" Ryuu came out and smashed ben off the fence. "I will not allow you to go any further."

"get off!!!"Ben shouted at Vincent then grabbed Ryuu and started shaking him about and whacking him on the fence

"I'm going to regret doing this"Ben murmured to himself and drank all the water which was on the floor and spilt all the water Vincent had and drank that as well.Then he ended up hitting Ryuu and carried on trying to climb over the fence.

When he heard that Miranda thought his idea was babyish so he walked alone into the woods behind the house and found a large rock and began vaporizing a hole in it.

Kristen sighed. "Give it a rest. Master said we could go outside."

Albert was getting tired but didn't want to stop so he kept vaporizing the into the rock

"We need to get out of here though! I don't care what all of you do I am going to go away!"Ben shouted at the top of his voice.

Kristen (mentally) moved Ben inside the treehouse. "You're just going to make it even worse. The master will come and find out anyways, and he will beat us all until he gets you back. Do you really think that'll help?"

Albert finished his hole which had developed into a small tunnel leading into a large dome shaped room big enough for 8 people. He crawled out tired and went to the tree house and climbed up. "Hey guys not to alarm you but the master probably has a camera in here. But don't worry I made us a place where we can talk." Albert said pointing towards the woods

"Oh cool we can now make a plan to escape once and for all and we can all have freedom!Wait a second I see the master hes coming outside...Now hes opening the door so be quite!Ben whispered to everyone

"He knows we're out here." Kristen said.

"Why would he be coming out side?" Albert wondered aloud

"Because he got on our nerves?" Miranda sighed. Suddenly, every form of Ben's existence dissapeared, so the group had no memory of him.

Vincent looked at the sun setting. he dippped his hand in a puddle "Freeze, Ryuu." Ryuu came out of his hand, this time only being about 4 inches thick because thats how wide Vincents hand was. The dragon floated next to the layed down Vincent.

Jeff was confused of what was going on. "Could somebody explain to mewhere we are and what happened?" He said confused.

"Can't you see Jeff? WE're In the treehouse. Remember the treehouse. WE're allowed some time outside because we done our chores."

Jeff looks over at Vincent. "Hey there, nice to meet you." Anybody know when well be doing our chores again?

((Ballboi. Your character didn't like magically appear. All the orphans have been at the place for a long timee.))

Miranda rubbed up against Ryuu and purred. She turned back to normal and lay back.

"Understood!" Ryuu floated back into a puddle then dissapeared. Vincent grinned and closed his eyes again.

Albert's rock statue was still not quite identifiable as what it was meant to be which was how he wanted it. "Walking sounds fun" Albert said not looking up from his carving

(( Ugh! I have to help my aunt set up for school, I was sleeping less than ten minutes ago! :( ))

"Yea, Lets go!" Melissa said happily.

[Ohff]

While he was waiting for someone to start walking Albert kept vaporizing the rock and it began to look like a person

Melissa Got up and also started walking ' you guys coming?'" Melissa asked

[Ohff]

"I am" said Albert as he got up and followed Melissa. As he walked he kept vaporizing the rock.

[deagle98]

" Why do you keep vaporizing rocks?" Melissa asked.

[Ohff]

((He isn't vaporizing rocks. He is vaporizing pieces off the rock to make a statue))

Albert looked up from his rock. "It is a hobby of mine I make little statues out of them" He said. The rock now looked like a human but had no face. Albert looked at it then put it in his pocket.

" Oh, Really?" Melissa replied.

[Ohff]

"Yeah, I usually use rocks but I can do it with wood and some other stuff" Albert said "I am gonna finish this one later"

"Lovebirds.." Vincent said, his eyes still closed.

[Ohff]

((wait a second is he walking with his eyes closed?))

Albert looked back at Vincent and glared then he looked at his shoes

Unseen by the others, Pari had slipped out of the house after finishing her chores and had gone into the forest alone. She came here whenever she could to visit her secret pets; a handsome pair of fawns named Naruna and Tanu. They were very alike although Naruna had a white star-shaped white mark on his forehead. She gently pushed some fir tree branches out of the way that led into her secret clearing where the fawns' home was. They lived in another smaller secret clearing behind some more trees and Pari remembered the hidden entrance by a rock sitting outside the unknown entrance. "I'm here, little ones," she whispered softly in deer-speak and at once she heard the delighted reply. "Yay! We missed you Pari!" called Tanu's high little voice and nearly silmultaneously Naruna added, "Yeah; we missed playing with you Pari!" Pari smiled, full of love for the little animals. She entered their hideout and carefully replaced the tree-branches. Then she knelt on the springy grass and hugged the necks of her pets. "We love you Pari." Naruna mumbled, his voice muffled slightly. "I love you two as well." Naruna and Tanu were the equivalent of a family for Pari and she knew it was the same for them.

Albert saw a thick branch on the ground so he picked it up and began vaporizing it into a ring shape. And then vaporized the whole thing.

After playing with the fawns for a while, the trio explored the surroundings. Pari occasionally thought of her family but usually blocked them from her mind as it was too painful to remember them. She remembered the early days when she was about four and her family didn't treat her differently. The laughter, the hugs and kisses, the love. Then when she reached about the age of six, they began to realise she was different. Instead of feeling pride at having an incredible daughter, brother, sister, etc., her family treated her like a freak. She remembered her brother, Raja, once saying, "Stay away from us, you weirdo, you're not like us and no one likes you!" She recalled the hours that she had cried in her box of a bedroom, the tears running down her little face. She had been separated from her old bedroom where she had slept with her sisters when her parents were sure she was "not normal" so her "strange behaviour" wouldn't rub off on them. Later that year, she was sent to the orphanage. Pari shook the memories visciously from her mind and concentrated on playing with Naruna and Tanu. They were all the family she needed. She imagined not having the gift of being able to speak to them and her heart filled with terror and misery. All she wanted was to be able to speak to them- without them, she didn't know how she would face life.

Melissa didnt notice Albert was glaring at Vincent, " Are you guys comin'?" Melissa said again.

[Snazzy]

"Nah, you guys go together." Kristen said.

Melissa Knew Kristen was acting Weirdly so she said " Umm, Ok then." She then continued to walk with Albert.

[Ohff]

Albert thought about the way Kristen had said together. He kept walking though.

[deagle98]

" So, Is it hard to make stuff from rocks and other things?" Melissa asked.

[Ohff]

"Not really.. let me show you" Albert said then he bent down and picked up a branch which began to vaporize into the shape of flower. When he was done he held it out for Melissa to take "Here" he said.

[deagle98]

" Aww, Thanks alot." Melissa said, Smiling.

[Ohff]

"Your welcome" Albert said to Melissa

Melissa turned around to see everyone watching " What?" Melissa said. She turned back around and said " Should we be getting back, Weve been outside a long time?"

[Ohff]

"Yes we probably should be getting back" Albert said

Vincent suddenly sniggered, breaking the silence.
"They've been gone a long time, probably making out or something... Worse.." He said sarcastically.

Albert turned around and glared at Vincent because they had been within sight the whole time

"Ok, Lets go." Melissa said running back.

[Ohff]

Albert ran after Melissa as she ran back to the group

[deagle98]

" So, what did you guys do? Considering you stayed back here." Melissa asked them.

[Ohff]

Albert took the unfinished statue out of his pocket and began vaporizing the head to form a face

[deagle98]

Melissa noticed Albert was finishing the statue and said " So, your finishing the face?"

[Ohff]

"Um yeah" Albert said as he repositioned his hand to cover the what the face was beginning to look like

Vincent sat up again. "Freeze, Ryuu." Vincent pulled Ryuu out of a puddle about a foot wide, Vincent whispered in his ear what to do. then Ryuu nodded and his whole body suddenly turned into a furiously spiked oval, then all the spikes shattered and showed a ice sculpture of a stork. its eyes the luminous white eyes of Ryuu.
"Hows this?" Ryuu said, overjoyed in what he had made.

[Ohff]

Albert noticed the stork and wondered if it was some kind of joke by Vincent. But he said nothing and just kept vaporizing the face into the statue

Kristen laughed at the joke. "I don't want to know what you guys did."

((Edit: I think she might actually have to change her power because it's against the rules to have the same power.))

"We just walked! And I showed her how I used my powers!" Albert said angry at the way the others were acting. and then he felt embarrassed by by his outburst so he looked down pretending to be involved with the creation of his statue

((No, it's the same thing as psychokinesis. Just moving objects.))

"Uh-huh. Sure." Kristen smirked.

[Ohff]

Albert finished the face on his sculpture and put in his pocket before anyone saw it was a sculpture of Melissa

[Snazzy]

"Is that for Melissa?" Kristen guessed.

[Ohff]

"Is what for Melissa?" Albert said pretending he didn't know what Kristen was talking about. And then remembering Kristen's power he grabbed the statue through his pocket

[Snazzy]

Kristen smirked. "Like you don't know."

[Ohff]

"Like I don't know what?" Albert said still holding the statue tightly

[Snazzy]

"You know, with my psychokinesis, I can use body manipulation." Kristen grinned as she moved Albert's arm out of the way and took the statue. "Hm. Nice work." She sent it back to him.

[Ohff]

Albert was blushing as he put the statue back in his pocket. He considered vaporizing Kristen but decide not to.

Ryuu shattered and formed back to his normal dragon shape, the dragon sighed "Vinceeeyyyy! This is borwinggg!"
"IM trying to get some rest Ryuu, you wouldn't know how restless i am on that cold hard floor.

[Ohff]

When Albert heard Ryuu talk he said "Hey Ryuu want me to make you sculpture out of a rock?"

Melissa was feeling a bit awnkward with what everyone was saying." I think we should head inside, Master is probably getting mad at us for being out here this long." Melissa just said that to avoid the conversation.

[Ohff]

Forgetting his offer to Ryuu Albert went although with Melissa's apparent plan to end the conversation "Melissa's right"

" Who wants to not get in trouble and go inside?" Melissa said. You could see melissa cheeks getting Redder and Redder every minute.

[Ohff]

Albert decided not to answer to quickly because it embarrass Melissa even more

Melissa noticed no one wanted to go inside so she headed up to the old treehouse, Then sat, In the peace and quiet.

[Ohff]

Albert wanted to follow Melissa but instead decide not to. And instead just stood there.

Melissa got bored then went down, " What do you guys want to do?"

[Ohff]

"We could play hide and seek" Albert suggested again

" Well, ask Someone else." Melissa said.

"I'm sorry, I had no idea we were in elementary school." Kristen said in a total deadpan.

" Stop being sarcastic, How about..... I dont know..." Melissa said.

Albert looked hurt by Kristen's comment "Well then..." and then stopped talking and looked at his feet "It was just an idea"

Melissa looked at Both kristen and Albert. " What will we do then?" Melissa asked Kristen.

[Ohff]

Albert listened for Kristen's suggestion.

[Snazzy]

"I don't know. Do as you want." Kristen said and mentally moved herself up onto the highest tree branch. "I'm going to stay here."

" What will we do then?" Melissa asked Albert.

[Ohff]

"Um..." Multiple ideas sprang to mind but all of them would probably be deemed as babyish Finally Albert said "I don't know, what do you want to do?"

Melissa said very quiet, that you could barely hear her, " Go inside so we don't get beaten."

[Ohff]

"Ok" Albert said quietly as he began to walk towards the house

" You know you can stay out if you want" Melissa said stopping him.

[Ohff]

"I would rather not get beaten, so I will go in with you" Albert said

[deagle98]

" I'll ask everyone else what they want to do." Melissa said.

[Ohff]

"Sounds like a good idea" Albert said

After a while, Pari decided she should leave the forest so as not to raise suspicion. Sadly, she hugged the fawns and after earning a lick each from them, exited. She heard the others talking by the treehouse and climbed to it nimbly. "Hey everyone," she said, quietly.

[Ohff]

"Hi Pari" Albert said. and then because he was bored with everyone not saying anything he sat down picked up a rock and began vaporizing it into a statue of the tree house.

" Hi Pari." Melissa said. Melissa noticed the sun was almost gone so she said " Its about night time, Wanna go inside?"

[Ohff]

"I am ready to go in whenever" Albert said still working on the tree house statue

[deagle98]

" I guess we can stay out A little longer." Melissa said

[Ohff]

Albert finished his tree house statue's basic shape so he started vaporizing in details

" Lemme See the Treehouse." Melissa said to Albert.

[Ohff]

Albert handed his treehouse statue to Melissa

" Wow, It looks really good... So far." Melissa said

[Ohff]

"Thanks" Albert said taking the statue back he began to add more details to it

Melissa heard Master yelling at us to get inside, She sighed and said " Gotta go inside now." And started walking

[Ohff]

Albert heard the master and was so surprised he accidentally vaporized his whole statue. He looked frustrated and then followed Melissa inside.

Y stood an a hill, looking into the slowly darkening night sky. He didn't know where he was or why he was there. As a matter of fact, he didn't know much at all. He sat down and closed his eyes. He wanted to be somewhere with people he knew, somewhere he was safe. And when he opened his eyes... he was. He saw a small group of people, and instantly recognised every one of them.

"It was an accident. It happens when I get surprised" Albert said to Melissa. Then he paused and said "that's kinda why I am here..." Albert trailed off

" Wait.. What.. thats why your here?" Melissa stopped for a while.

[Ohff]

"Well when I first learned I was... different, my parents liked it and encouraged me to make art with my power. They loved me until... well..." Albert struggled with what he was saying

"What did you do?" Melissa said, Confused.
