Why Disney took over Club penguin was because club penguin was making money and being popular , because Disney was a popular but Hungry for more money so Disney took over Club penguin because of more power and money.:(
Every time Disney takes over popular business The more they will take over , about 1/4 of American money go to Disney ( I was guessing might be more).:O

Of course Disney did it for the money. Disney is a very successful business and it wants to remain successful by purchasing other profitable projects. Whether you like it of not, that is the business world for ya.

I'm pretty sure that in their deal with Disney, they said that disney can't control the CP game itself.

What's so bad about it? The only thing Disney did was give CP money. If Disney did not give them the money there would be no:
Game UPgrades
ninjas
The stage
Famous penguins that give out backgrounds
Yellow puffles
White puffles
Puffles playing with toys
More member partys
Better catalog items
CP toys
CP treasure book items
And Stage catalog

I am SO SICK OF these freaking Disney Club Penguin Threads. Disney owns Club Penguin, New Horizon Interactive still runs the place. None of the major staff members of Club Penguin have left. Thus nothing , game wise has, or will, change any time soon. End of story. Club Penguin is becoming like this because it is growing, rapid growth is hard to handle. Thus some things will change, But don't blame Disney.

I didn't understand your poll question, so I put "I don't care".

You realize that it was Club Penguin's idea as well to join Disney. Club Penguin received proposals from many companies, including Sony, to partner up. However, Club Penguin chose Disney because Disney shares the same values that Club Penguin does and Disney could help them make the game more appealing to countries all over the world.

End of story, don't ever post something like this again.

I agree with you

You got a point though. I dont really mind that disney owns clubpenguin put I personally liked it better when CP was independent

How could Disney possibly affect ninjas, The Stage, famous penguins, yellow puffles, white puffles, puffle's toys, member-only parties, catalog items, or the catalog in The Stage?

I'm pretty sure Disney didn't use hostile tactics to 'take over' Club Penguin.
