I don't know if Dracophile was joking or not when he told us what the rank after 10,000 posts was, but if he was telling the truth, don't we all technically unlock that achievement for figuring it out? (it's 70G, a hunkload of points)

Yes, after a forumer reaches 10,000 posts we will all see the rank and we will all unlock the achievement.

IT won't give you any advantage in the achievements because everyone will get free 70 points.
