Are you happy that the new colour is Aqua?

I am not, and I dont even really care but I cant understand how aqua could win! How could so many people choose it? I mean it looks a lot like light blue! I wanted maroon to win but I wouldnt have minded if lavender won.

Honestly, I don`t care, because people overreacted in the first days after the color vote was announced, and several "aqua sucks and lavender`s for da win" threads appeared. So someone of the guests told his friends "vote for aqua so we can screw some people`s dinner", then he said to the other so almost everyone in the neighborhood voted for aqua.

Yeah, it looks a lot like light blue but I'd rather have aqua win than lavender/maroon since I don't like either of those. My favorite color is blue (pretty much every shade of it :P), and I'm sure it will look at least slightly different than light blue.

It's blue, not green. We only have two blues at the moment. Aqua makes three.

There had been a different shade of blue that's not available anymore. Most people call it old blue. Gary, G Billy, and the penguins at the end of sled races wear it.

No it doesn't. Aqua has more of a green tint. I don't see any green in light blue.

I voted lavender because it is unique and unlike any other colour we have had on clubpenguin. And i also think it would have appealed to both girls and boys.

Aqua represents Club Penguin better than the other colors. When you think water you think Aqua. Club Penguin is surrounded by water. That was the reason behind my decision of Aqua.

That is probably one of the best reasons given. This is not a debate on which color is better, because you can't substitute those colors. Club Penguin picked Aqua. End of Story.

They voted because they liked it so that probably is the better reason on how to explain why Aqua won is by more people liked, not because "it represented" or "it makes sense". Not everyone is happy, I'm not but nothing is going to change. When it comes to it most people voted for what ever color because they liked it simple as that.

I just told him why I voted for it. He asked for a proper reason on why SOMEONE voted for Aqua. I told him, I was not speaking on behalf of the voters of Aqua.
