Forum Houses uPick idea.

Like many of you have seen and had your views on, Forum Houses is an idea I have been modifying and changing. In the thread, it says about different forums. For uPick 2.0, we are going to drop the idea of different forums and have one forum where everything takes place. Each element has its own discussion thread and other than that you can chat about competitions and design banners. You may also ask questions in threads. The points system is very simple as you can see below. 4 Captains for each house change each month as well as Vice Captains and prefects. There are two prefects, and one Vice captain for each house. Anyone who would like to take part simply says they would like to in a thread. We write the names down of the people who take part and the Captains pick who they think will score them the most points and who has the most achievement points. After everyone is picked they stay with those groups unless they are desperate to change there group. Chances our, that all groups will be fair. Different competitions will take part three times a week or more. If you do not enter then you may automatically come last. If you have anymore questions, please ask me in this thread.

Art (Paint drawing) 2-8 Points
Art (GFX signatures) 2-8 points
Creative Writing (Poetry) 1-4 points
Creative Writing (Short Story) 1-4 points
Creative Writing (Songs) 1-4 points
Best Igloo Design 2-8 points
Best Club Penguin Sig 1-4 points
Best Club Penguin avvy. 1-4 points
Best Club Penguin Music Video 3-12 points
Best Club Penguin Outfit 1-4 points
Best Editing Work. 2-8 points
House Find Four 3-12 points
House Sled Racing 3-12 points
House Card Jitsu 3-12 points
Achievement totals from top ten scorers in each house. Alot of points.

There`s a problem with the achievment points, as if Spem (which is first in the Achievements board) would give the team she (or he, not sure) joined too many points.

If the top 4 on the achievement list was chosen to 4 different team then the competition points would decide it. I've had an idea.

Do you think we should raise the points given for competitions?

Are you saying the top 4 could of the Achievement leaderboard could be the four captains?

Nope, I mean, if you`re actually going to add the points of the top 10 in Achievement Board, the difference between their scores shouldn`t be big, so it couldn`t boost very highly one house.

But the closer the better. It makes it more exciting. If its a draw then, well I'm not sure what to do.

The only problem`s that, how people won`t get out of nerves (posting hate threads, spamming the other team`s e-mails and etc). This would be a problem, if this was for one year forum. Then from a little JFF forum, that would emerge in a Survivor-themed (or amazingly messed out forums, filled with hate and drama.). But for one or more months, it`s fine and dandy.

Any hate threads will be deleted straight away and the creator of the thread punished, although I'm not sure how. Maybe chucked out of the team? I was actually thinking about September - July at the beginning. But now that its uPick, it could be a bit smaller and the competitions held frequently.

Yeah, thats a good idea. But we'll have to find a way to stop the other teams spying or faking.

To be honest, I don't know what there would be to spy and cheat about. Surely most of the competitions would be down to skill and talent, so it would difficult for people to steal those things from the other team.

Let`s hope that someone won`t take this forum too seriously and actually do that...because sometimes, there`s people who are exactly like that.
