Xbox live dissconnection

Can ny of u guys help me? Ill be in the middle of an xbox live match and it randomly disconnects me from xbox live. i thought it was my router at first.. but the internet on the computer still works. ny suggestions?

What Game were you playing? Try testing the connection. If a test has failed, go to more info on that test and read about it. If that doesn't help try going to this.http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support.

I was playing gears of war.. and it just randomly disconnects sometimes.. illl try the sites u posted. thx man

Yea when i got disconnected it said that i was disconnnected from xbox live and to check my ethernet cables... but they were fine. i think the ethernet cable mite have gotten overheated or something
