Well, Detroit won 2-1 in double OT last night in game 6. You got the score right, but the wrong team. It was a great game -- I stayed up and watched it. (I updated that series in my post and said that Detroit won).

I can't wait for game 7 between Dallas and Vancouver tonight. I'm with you on that one -- I really hope Dallas wins.

NHL Finals:

My prediction for the NHL Finals are a little different, but kind of similar. I'm picking Buffalo over San Jose in 6 games.
I also think Buffalo is the best. They have a great team and are exciting to watch.

I wish they would, but 4 in a row? That's a lot, especially against a Senators team who is all fired up. It won't happen. The Sabres know they are going to lose so they don't have as much energy.

Coming into the season, I thought Buffalo was the best team in the NHL, and they are also my 2nd-favorite team (my 1st fav. is the Blues). This year and last year they had amazing teams, and these two years were their chance to win the cup. They should have done it both years, but just like last year, they will get knocked out in the round RIGHT before the Stanley Cup. That must suck to be on that team. They were so close both times, but they couldn't do it...

With Drury, Briere, Afinogenov, Vanek, and others, they should at least put up a fight in the 3rd-round! They're down 3-0! That's awful... with THAT team, they should be doing much better. It's kind of a shame. The Sens are all pumped up so they won't let up. They will close off this series either tonight or in game 5. Congrats to the Sens. They have a GOOD team. That offense is unbelievable.

Sorry man, but winning 4 in a row is just hard to do. Especially when you're down 3-0. Because you're not pumped up at all - you're getting down on yourself in that situation.
