Backmasking with Audacity

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I need help using Audacity to backmask songs. When I import songs, it imports some random sound. When I play it forwards, it's some random screechy noise instead of the song that I imported. How do I import the song so it imports it correctly?

I think you have the wrong file type for Audacity. Did you try importing songs from iTunes? What you described is what happens to me when I try importing songs iTunes.

Yeah. I imported it from itunes, but all the tutorials online say it will work when you do that.

Strange, because when I import songs from iTunes, it does the same thing.
