To start things off here is a subject: What do you think about recon armor and it's owners?

Lol that's true but I can't get the annual. But I am taking the harder way by doing an awesome betayal, suicide, etc. Also I'm finishing up this awesome map on sandbox.

I don't have an X-Box 360, but my friend has Halo 3 and we play. I like using the Arbitur (Not sure on spelling) using the Elite armor. My friend made this bad place which he named "Hell." It's noob material. You're stuck in one area with fusion coils and the only items were gravity hammers, rocket launchers, and energy swords.

Has anyone downloaded the map from bungie.com called Dig To China 2? If you haven't, I definitely recommend getting that and playing it with a lot of friends. It's really fun and challenging.

I don't think they should make Recon unlockable by unlocking some lously achievments, it should stay as the exclusive armor it is, I mean look at some of the people who got Recon:


DigitalPh33r/Jon Graham: Got Recon for his awesome Machinimas.

Some guy: Got recon for his fantastic forge map I believe was called the Wall.

Adam Jones: Got Recon because someone at Bungie appearantly likes the band he plays in, Tool.


And then there'll be a bunch of kids who get recon because they spend ten thousand hours trying to unlock achievments? :(-_-

I agree with that. I don't want some kids running screaming out I HAZ RECONZ ZOMG IM SOZ AWESOME!!!
So yeah I think people should have to actually have to work for it like everyone else has like Digitalph33r.

And who ever said the achievements were going to be easy? I'm sure they think Annual is easy compared to the next ones.
Dear god I hope it doesn't involve matchmaking. I was finished matchmaking when I stayed up till 6am playing grifball for the lightswitch achievement :confused:

Who here is buying ODST? I'm getting the limited edition. It is a Halo game so I'm sure there is a limited edition. Then again it's only an expansion pack. I sincerely hope that the games new multi player maps (I shall call it Mythic 2) are on the disk and not on a key card like halo wars mythic.

I couldn't be bothered. I mean I want reconz (1. it looks cool 2. everyone secretly wants it too) but I have no ideas. IF only it was a campaign contest ( right now all the multiplayer contests are "oh look it's inside a grenade!" "oh its a transformer made out of needlers") It's all staged now. It was better when we saw "hey it looks like he has a jetpack". Though I'm sure that was staged too. >=(

I know it's over but I'd like to share my non-mythic picture that sadly doesn't have my name on it (I made it off line I don't know why my name wasn't on it anyways).

Recon shouldn't be unlocked by the Vidmaster achievemnts. They'll be 10 year olds bragging over XBox live because they have Recon. *Sigh* I'm not going to be using my mic for a while...

I venture to say they'll make an armor just for them. Bungie only. Like flaming.
They wanted to make recon for everyone, but you had to earn it. It'll be like Hyabusa was for the first few months. For a while after Halo 3 came out, Hyabusa was the "thang thang" for everyone. Recon was a poor exuse for an armor back then.
