Why did they bring back the old bunny ears

The prize for the easter egg hunt this year was some Pink Bunny ear's (correct?) before then I used to be special I would walk around with my Pink Bunny ears, people would be like :O where did you get them from, because I got them ages ago, like 2-3 years ago, but now its commen :(
