This is the fifth episode of Alaskan Hospital (not counting the pilot) and the first episode of the second season. It is entitled, "Vitality". NOTE: The titlee is not at all affiliated with Vital Viper. Enjoy.
EPIDODE FIVE:
"Amy, watch out!" Amy, a six-year-old girl, had almost walked into the street. Her babysitter grabs her hand. Suddenly she drops it. "Amy, your hand is purple!" Sure enough, Amy's hand had turned purple. Her babysitter picked her up and ran to a bus driver. "Where's the next hospital?" The driver replied, "Juneau, Alaska. It's the best Alaskan hospital." She jumped into the bus, holding a nearly completely purple Amy.
The fire crackled next to Don's bed. He was watching the Iditarod dog-race on TV. "See, if the dogs only like zero degree weather, why not go to Antarctica?" Sarah rolled her eyes. "It's a tradition. They can't just move a whole event." Don lay back and nodded. "Whatever." He had fallen onto the ice a few days before. Jim walked into the room. "I have something to tell you guys. We have a new case." He told them about Amy and her purpleness. "I turn purple when I'm sick," suggested Don. Jim shook his head. "She's been like this for over four hours."
The next day, Don was allowed to leave his room for work. He, Sarah, and Sam went to visit Amy. "D'you wonder what happened?" asked Sam. Don mouthed to Sarah, "Little geek. Why wouldn't I wonder?" He was being rather rude to Sam, seing as Sam had saved his life a few days ago. Sarah and Don walked down the hall. Suddenly, Sarah shrieked. A man was walking down the halls with a gun. Don recognized him as the Agent. They ran in the opposite direction and skidded to a stop. Getting out to the parking lot, they drove to Don's house.
Don locked the door. Sarah trembled behind him. "Is-is he there?" she asked. Don looked out the window. A few minutes later, a dark figure came to the door. Don and Sarah ran into the next room. With a *click* the door opened. They crouched below the stove and waited. The Agent yelled, "I'm hooooome!" Sarah silently cried and hugged Don. They slid lower behind the stove. The Agent walked slowly into the kitchen. "Don't try to hide." He saw them and shot his gun. It hit the floor right under Don's foot. He quickly got up and followed Sarah upstairs, with the Agent shooting bullets at them. Finally they climbed out an upstairs window and escaped.
Sarah and Don ran back to the hospital. They saw Jim. "What the heck happened?" he demanded. Sarah said, "Th-this agent tryed to kill us..." Jim said, "A likely story. Come back to my office when you want to tell me the truth." Then Sam rushed in. "Jim, Jim! There was an agent, and he shot at me, and it almost hit my head!" Jim raised his eyebrows at Don and Sarah. He believed them. "Thanks so much for getting us out of trouble, Sam!" said Sarah, her eyes glowing. Don silently cursed Sam. They walked back into the lobby. "Wanna get a bite to eat?" Don asked Sarah. She agreed. They sat there, wondering about the agent.
The next morning, Jim told them that Amy had become much more ill. He led Don and the other interns out into her room. They talked excitefly about her sickness. Don yawned and pulled out his PDA. "What're you doing?" wondered Sarah. Don quickly searched "list of minor illnesses" on Wikipedia. He looked down the large list until he found Phyuncludoshis. He had diagnosed Amy. As he and Sarah walked home, she kissed him. The Agent barged in. "Get off my daughter!" he yelled.
