'It has been several generations since Avatar Aang brought peace after the Great War, and all four nations are at peace. In the Earth Kingdom, a Waterbender crosses a great forest alone. He has no mount. As the mist settles in, he stops to rest. Suddenly he hears a sound behind him.

This is no ordinary forest. This is the Woods of Journey. And something is afoot here.'

CHARACTERS:

Name: Nokka
Gender: Male.
Appearance: Medium-long light brown hair that is always slightly ruffled, lsomewhat tanned, grey eyes, and an average size.
Bending: Waterbending
Background: His family hailing from the Southern Water Tribe, they now live in the Earth Kingdom. Nokka just wants to cross the gigantic forest to meet his uncle, whom he visits every year.

Name: Zacko
Gender: Male
Apperance: Black hair, grey eyes, tall
Bending: Firebending
Background: When he was about 4 years old,he got lost in the woods surrounding his home. Somehow,he ended up outside the Fire Nation.

Name: Seng Rachi
Gender: Male
Appearance: Black hair, dark eyes (a watery, shining dark blue), tall, willowy, strong. He is 19 years old.
Bending: Water
Background: Came from the Great North Tribe. When he was younger, he had the urge to travel to other places in the world, look at the secrets of other types of bending, and to see if BloodBending was possible. Eventually settled in the Woods Of Journey, and tends to the plants in times of drought. Since the forest is quite desolate, he has run of it, practicing his waterbending along the way. There is a monsterous river running through the forest, so he had a chance to practiced the smallest to biggest feats of waterbending.

Appearance: Tall, black scruffy light hair, brown eyes, red and yellow colors for clothing with a black shirt.
Bending: Airbending
Background: Traveling around the world with his flying bison Spanner looking for adventure and fun along the way. A curious and thoughtfull person, but when in trouble, he is very powerful helping those in need and looks on the bright side of things even when the outcome is bleak.

Gender: Female
Bending: Air
Appearance: Sparkly silvery-blue eyes, tall, black hair, pretty, pink robe. Puts her hair into a black bandana & wears a black robe when she is a 'bandit'.
Background: Actually lives in the forest, in a giant tree house, her parents had born and raised her there, but had dissapeared when she was young, she livesin the tree-house with her flying Bison Jacobe, she is a rebel, and dresses as a masked bandit (no-one knows it's her, in fact no one even remembers she exists, but the locals have heard stories) to take only what food she needs, she is deep and mysterious at first, but once you get to know her, she is funny, smart, and a bit of a Tomboy.

Gender: Male
Appearance: Appears to be clean but mysterious, as if he was hiding something or about to attack you at any moment. Riku's clothing is similar to that of a Japanese kimono, but with the earth kingdom emblem.
Bending: Earthbending, Metalbending
Background: Best friends with Toph Bei Fong's grandchild, Milan. Toph taught Milan the arts of Metalbending, and Milan taught Riku for being by her side whenever the others left because she felt so lost and lonely again, before she had met them. Riku and Milan often train together and support each other in every way possible. Milan grew up from nobility, Riku, from the poor, but whenever his parents were killed, he was taken in by a kind women who lives by the Bei Fongs.

Riku set off to try to help keep the peace in the world. All he wants is to be useful.

Name: Drew Chiodo
Gender: Male
Appearance: He wears black pants, and a black shirt with red/orange flames. Red/orange hair styled to look a bit like flames.
Bending: Firebending
Background: He got kicked out of the Fire Nation after an accident with the oil tanks.... He was also a rebel, completely leaving the tradition Fire Nation attire in the dust. He is not wanted, but is not liked in the Fire Nation and is taken under caution by officals, as he is quite powerful.

Gender: Female
Appearance: Pretty, Short, Bobbed black hair, light freckles
Bending: Earthbending
Background: Very, very smart silly, goofy, clumbsy and likes to prank people.

Nokka was exhausted, he had walked all day and had just sat down to make a fire and sleep. The chilly fog was all around him. Suddenly, he heard a rustle. He immediately stood up, prepared to fight-he knew from experience that was another human being hiding and knew that bandits lurked in the forest. He had to be prepared for anything.

Zacko was walking around some bushes,exhausted and looking for some shelter.He was exploring the forest,looking for a relic said to be guarded by spirits.Soon,he saw a dim glow from a clearing close to him.He soon thought it was a bandit camp.Even then he decided to check it out.He trugged through some thickets and arrived at the clearing.

Nokka fired a ball of water at the sound, and heard a resounding thud. He cautiously stepped forward, and saw Zacko sprawled on the forest floor. Still not reverting from attack position, he said 'Who are you? What are you doing here?'

Seng had witnessed the whole thing from a place in the treetops. He took the opportunity to jump down without a sound, and to see if the person that the other waterbender had injured was fine. He tapped the other person on the shoulder and asked in a quiet flowing voice like a trickling stream, "Is he fine?"

Jenna jumped from tree to tree, pushing off from the trunk when there were no branches, she climbed higher and soon she had the perfect viewing point to spy on the travlers, with no possibilty of being caught. Once they were settled, she would take some of their food, with minimal injuries on their part.

Meanwhile, up in the sky, Treno was flying with his bison Spanner and the two were having a small chat before approaching the forest. "Boy," said a bored Treno "I wish there was some fun to do. All you get to see up here is land, clouds and ocean and the stars at night." Treno and Spanner had recently left the city of Omashu after hanging out with a couple of his Earthbending friends and sliding down the mail chutes 100 times or more. Once they left Omashu, the two decided their next trip would be to take a break and go on a vacation to Wail-Tail island to look for adventure. Suddenly, a big dark cloud hovered over Spanner and Treno for a few seconds and then wisped away into the night. Spanner grunted in a question like way "Gruun?" "Don't worry buddy, we will find some lechee nuts on the island, but we can't stop now." Treno replied, patting the giant bisons head. "Lets keep moving on." Then, looking up, Treno saw smoke in the distance. "Hey! There is is fire!" From the distance, Treno saw what looked like the forest was on fire was actually the fireplace Nokka had set up for camp. "Oh no!" "We have to help save the forest Spanner!" Treno grabbed his water pouch he had saved for the trip over the ocean to Wail-Tail island, and told Spanner "Yip-Yip!" and whipped the string across Spanners two horns, and the two descended down the forest below quickly.

Seng walked to the other side of the clearing, not waiting for an answer from the other waterbender. He took a look at the person, drew the water that had harmed him so from his body, and only stopped when he started coughing and spluttering again. He murmured, "Hello, firebender..."

Jenna looked surprised. It appeared to be a fire-bender and water-bender "Not often you see that" she murmered. She realised she would be better off waiting for them to sleep first, and snapped out her board. Constructed by her father when she was young, it consisted of a strip of wood, with a small pipe going through it, when she knelt down and forced air through the tube, it hovered. She rested her palms on the hand rest, and made her way back to the tree house.

"I hate it when people annoy me..."Zacko shot a few fireballs at a tree.It fell over and almost hit Seng.

As the burning tree fell toward him, Seng quenched the fire and made a little foundation of water for the tree to land upon. Seng was right under it. He moved out of the way, and let the foundation collapse, and the tree came down with it. "Be more careful next time, firebender." Dwayne motioned to the tree he had burned. "You could have killed someone with that. Now, we haven't been properly introduced. What is your name?" Seng held out a hand for him to shake.

Nokka quickly joined them both. 'Sorry for attacking you, but the forest is a dangerous place and we have to be on guard.' He turned so he was facing both Zacko and Seng. 'What are your names? I'm Nokka.'

P.S: Pointy it would be nice if I got an appearance in words.

"My fellow waterbender, this forest is only dangerous if you provoke it." Seng made a small pool of water, and animals came to drink from it. "Now people," Seng murmured, "are another story altogether. Especially benders." Dwayne offered his other hand to him. "And who might you be?"

"I am Seng." He motioned slighly to the forest. "This is where I now dwell. I take care of one side of the forest's water supply, while the river takes care of the other side." Seng pointed to the firebender. "What might the artefacts you are looking for look like, firebender?"

There were dozens of bridges leading to difrent sections of the house.

As Treno and Spanner sped down to the fire, Treno thought he saw the same tree fall and the fire dissapeer. Without thinking, Treno pulled on Spanners rope between the bisons horns and told Spanner "Someone just put out that fire! Quick! Let's fall back and hide and see who these people are." Spanner grunted quietly, and Spanner landed not too fair where the strangers were talking. Treno could hear little what the people were saying and all of a sudden, the strangers quickly left and walked away. Treno said quickly to Spanner "Quick let's follow them!" Treno said. "They could be bandits!" and so the two followed them.

After following what seemed to be a short run through the trees quietly, Treno had finnaly caught up to the mysterious two people with their backs to him. What happened next happened fast. Treno had heard the figure on the left say "It's amazing! But, do you know where Jenna and Nokka are? Treno responded quietly "What.....?" when out of no where came Spanner stampeding fast to Treno that it shocked Treno and make him scream a quick "Aaah!" and Treno knew he was caught for sure.

Soz, it's just that the name I normally use is Dwayne. This is an Avatar RP, so I had to make the name fit, so I changed from my normal RP charactar to Seng. I'll edit it now. ;)

Seng saw the person and the flying bison running away from the burning tree, pushed down the hill towards them with unseen force. Dwayne made a thick wall of ice, drawing water from the river. The burnt tree was stopped. Then he went back to the original question. "Jena and Nokka should be a little behind us on the trail. The forest respects me and anyone travelling with me, but it did not seem to tell that they were with us. Maybe is should tell the forset that they are."

Jenna smirked as she saw them leaving their campsite almost completely unprotected. She pulled her hood up, covering her mask in shadows, before taking a small metal sword handle from her pocket. There was a hole running through the center of it, and by pushing air through it, she was able to create an almost unstoppable blade. She silently jumped down from her branch and slit open their bags, one by one, taking half of the food and gold from each one before leaving her note on the last one. As always, it read
I am sorry for your losses. But I must eat.
I never take from the same people twice, so do not bother protecting your campsite from me.
I have left half of everything so you may still continue your journey.

"That's only the forest responding to strangers." Seng waterbended a rising ledge, his favorite way of getting up into the high treetops. It was also an excellent way of seeing the whole forest from the sky. When he was at the top, he slowly created ledges of the same kind for the others. He saw as he was looking out through the forest and saw a masked person being chsed after by another person. He quickly waterbended the others to the top and showed the sight of one person being chased by the other.

Riku can't seem to catch up. Thinking quickly, while in pursuit, up in the treetops near the canopy, he quickly earthbends the earth from the ground below into little tiny sharp shards and carefully launches them towards the criminal in an attempt to pin him/ her down without killing them.

Seeing the incoming branch, Riku earthbended rocks covering his right hand extending to his elbow and broke the branch in two with a punch.

"An airbender? Why would an Airbender be stealing? I always thought they were peaceful."

Riku jumped up onto the branches closing in on the thief.

I can tell that he's an Airbender because he has a flying bison."

Spanner grunted quietly in response. "I followed you two thinking you were bandits." Treno replied quickly. "You guys don't really look like bandits because you are a waterbender. Treno sighed a big relief, but with Nokka still not trusting Treno, still held his ice sword pointing towards Trenos chest, Treno started explaining with the fire disapeering, and how Treno followed the two strangers. "I am sorry for the misunderstanding. My name is Treno. And what are your names?"

"I have no intention of hurting you. All I wish to know is why you stole those items" said Riku as he glanced at the airbender.

"I wonder if I can use waterbending from such a distance?" Seng was a bit nervous of using it from this far. He knew he could, but could he sustain it long enough for the other person to capture her? "Might as well give it a try..." Seng's powers swirled into a water-ball behind the airbender (he could tell because there was what looked like a tiny tornado in her hand) and before she could do anything, engulfed her in it. He knew that the airbender had to keep her concentation on airbending air to herself. It would be a great trouble to her, because she has to work outside the water-bubble. Seng hurried down to the ground and hurried to the spot where the fight was taking place. He could already feel his water-bubble getting stronger as the distance closed.

"Hey...thats so cool!" Konata said to the Airbender "Let me try"....Konata earthbended the nearest rock....and forced it to swirl in the middle....causing a Earth-nado......"Gah!..." Konata strained......the earth collapsed into tiny pieces....

Jenna was disorientated for a minute, but easily enough made an air-bubble around her head, allowing herself to breath, she pushed her hand out of the water and held her hand out again, making blasts of air pulse out of her palm, slamming into the tree straight above the waterbenders head. She called out, her voice slightly muffled "Next time I will actually aim! Leave. NOW!" she shouted, another blast catching him in the shoulder

Seng just wondered to himself why he started with the smaller attacks sometimes. He just made a pillar of water aimed at the tree, and froze it. It was now frozen to his bidding, unless someone tried to smash the ice, but that didn't matter because he could just bind it back together, 'Something tells me this is going to be a push and shove match. It's two against one, though... We have a major advantage.' Now he was closer, he could make a water ball, freeze it round her, and hold the ice in place. As long as he got the earthbender to make another ball round his, she could be contained, and they could run away with the food and water in the corner before she got out.

Jenna glanced around, glad that at least he had taken away the water surrounding her. She looked from the earthbender to the waterbender, and realised how it was going to end. A huge wind came in from the east, blowing the leaves of some of the trees, blocking her from view, she jumped up onto the branch above and sent some wind attacks down, hopefully distracting them. She jumped from branch to branch, before snapping out a wooden air-sail and jumping into the air

Seng threw the tree away, and went to have at where the food had been. There was a bracelet, made of a shimmering supstance Seng couldn't put his finger on and plaited with pure silver and blue silk from silkworms. He pocketed it and went to the earthbender, thinking to himself how much this was turning out to be a hectic day. He then walked oer to the earthbender, and spoke. "Hello, earthbender... My name is Seng. What might yours be?"

Jenna arrived back at her tree house and dumped her food bag on the table, she then stood and jumped onto her roof, checking for any incoming intruders. She instictibly grasped the cool silk bracelet her father had given her before he had dissapeared.
It was gone.

Seng only had to hope that the other benders didn't roam. He had bid the earthbender farewell, as he seemed to be in a trance. He knew that the bracelet was the airbenders, so he decided to try and give it back to her. He knew that she had a house like his, airbended into existance, on the other side of the river. So he started trekking, hoping he could reach there in an hour.

*TIMESKIP*

Seng was finally there. The sun was setting, and was almost about the hit the horizon, but he liked to keep an everlasting iceblock (as he liked to call them) on his neck anyway, to get rid of the heat of the day. He was nervous of the reaction from the airbender, but he shouted up to her, asking if he could come up.

There was a bracelet, made of a shimmering supstance Seng couldn't put his finger on and plaited with pure silver and blue silk from silkworms. He pocketed it and went to the earthbender, thinking to himself how much this was turning out to be a hectic day. He then walked oer to the earthbender, and spoke. "Hello, earthbender... My name is Seng. What might yours be?"

They were worried about Seng, but if he came back they would have to remain in this place for him to find them. SO they decided, while they passed the time, to tell their life stories. Nokka began:

"Wow," said an interested Treno, "I must try your tea sometime. I also hope your uncle is doing ok too. Well where to begin my story..." Treno looked up at the stars for a moment thinking, then looked at Spanner who fell alsleep, looked up one more time to the stars, and then looked down beginning his tale. "As you know, my name is Treno, and I am an airbender." Treno pointed at the giant sleeping bison. "And this is my buddy Spanner, who is my friend. I am what you can say adventurer looking for fun and excitement. I left the southern air temple two years ago trying to find my calling. I wanted to do more than just play air-ball or play Pi-shoh with the elder airbenders, or bake cakes and I was really fed up with it. So Spanner I decided to leave everything behind and become world travellers. I have visited most of the Earth Kingdom, visited the north and south water tribes, and made friends along the way. I have never visited the Fire Nation though. Spanner can't go that far out into sea yet." Treno pasued, and drank some of his water that he saved for Wail-Tail Island. "Spanner and I were just thinking of going on a vacation trip from exploring Wail-Tail island, but I think we can wait for a while." Treno looked at the stars again without looking down "That's my tale."

The only reason he wasn't fainting was that the moon was arching across the sky. Soon the earthbender was up and about, and they were walking back to the place where the fellow benders were waiting for them. He had given the bracelet back to the airbender, Jenna, and that was all he had come to do.

OT: So which one of us is the Avatar?

Before Seng arrived, everyone went to bed including Spanner, but Treno couldn't sleep. Treno was wide awake, and kept looking at the stars trying to fall asleep trying to count all the stars to keep him tired. "103, 104, 105, 106.." Treno mumbled. Then out of nowhere a comet made a streak coming in going in a flash. After seeing the comet, Treno went into a flashback when he was at the Northern Water tribe at night star-gazing a year ago with one of his friends Chaz. Chaz was a waterbender who was the same age as Treno. Even though Chaz was a little clumsy and goofy, Chaz always seemed to know what to say most of the time. Treno nicknamed Chaz "The Chazter" because Chaz liked being called that but hardly Treno hardly ever said it because it was really silly. Treno and Chaz were talking about something with penguin sliding and they were going to race each other the next day and Chaz won using waterbening to make ice to go faster by cheating, when a comet flew right by them up across the black starry sky. "Wow!" said Treno. Chad murmerd without looking at Treno "If you see a shooting comet, make a wish." Treno looked at Chaz confused. "Why?" Chaz kept looking at the stars but replied "Your wish may come true." Treno looked at Chaz confused replying "Why would I want to wish for something, when I have you as a friend, and travelling around the world?" Then Chaz looked at Treno and said "Just a saying. Thanks for being a friend Treno. Chad punched Treno softly in the arm. "I can't race you tommorow! Chaz said with a evil grin. "Yeah! you're gonna eat my ice!" Treno smirked rubbing his arm. The two laughed looking at the stars again. Treno snapped back to back to realization and heard Spanner grunt, and Treno lied still for a moment. Then Treno said softly: "I wish I could find my calling." After saying that, Treno heard someone approach and he knew instantly who it was. It was that waterbender who put out the fire. Treno watched silenty as the waterbender went to sleep. The waterbender looked around once and looked at Treno and Spanner, and Treno pretended to be asleep snoring softly, and then the waterbender laid down and went to went to sleep. "I better get some sleep also." thought Treno. Eventually, after 10 minutes Treno fell asleep.

Treno looked at Spanner who found a berry bush and was hapilly eating berries. Treno then replied "We can set a course. "Here," Treno handed Seng a world map that was a little than a year old, "pick out pinpoints where we can fly and rest. I'll give you time to decide."

These tunnels go far underneath the water. Thankfully, it's because they are so deep that no one can find them, and there are only four known locations to access it."


Turning to his friend...

"It will take 2 days to make our way from the entrance, to the Southern Water Tribe. We'll be at the entrance in a few minutes as this rate."

Riku looked up into the sky to see where the Sun was and saw that the sun was setting.

"I already have torches for light and the necessary equipment needed to sleep in the tunnels. All we need now is food and we can leave in the morning."

We don't really know so far in this role play how long the past avatars up to Aang lived. It really could be anybody. I think Seng would be our best bet though. :)

As Konata was riding the Earth-wave...she started to see little blurs in the distance...graduatlly getting more clear.....*Flying Bison Noise* she turned to look and found herself staring at a flying bison...she lost balance on the wave, all the earth feel down back into place and she flew straight to Sengs feet ..."Hehe...Hi Sefu" she got up and dusted her self off then bowed before her Sefu......

Treno was shocked to see the Earthbender bow before Seng. "Sefu?" said Treno looking at Seng. "I had no idea you were a teacher Seng." Treno then looked at the earthbender and asked her name. "Hi Earthbender. Whats your name?" Treno asked.

I told you..." Seng bowed slightly to his pupil. "I thought you would never come back!", Seng whispered as he hugged Konata. He whispered to Konata again. "Could you make your own way to the Southern Water Tribe? I'd really appreciate it." Seng waited for an answer from Konata. Before she could answer, he turned to the airbender and said, "I'd like it if we could pick up stuff along the way. I'd like it if we could leave now, if that's OK."

"Ah, alright. I would ask if we could simply fly to the Southern Water Tribe on your bison, however I believe it to take less long if we use the tunnels."

"Ok. We need to gather some food and get some rest. There's a small village down the hill, so I'll go find us some food. Would you mind getting logs for the fire?"

Do you have any maps?" the shopkeeper nodded and handed Konata a brand new map "Thank you" she payed the woman and ran to the docks...as she was running, she saw a man with a bison...."Hmm..Uh...excuse me" she asked the man "Are you able to take me to the Southern Water Tribe....I'll pay you in gold" the man nodded. Konata jumped up and they lifted off the ground into the direction of the Southern Water Tribe was....and her Sefu...... C:

After a night of food and rest, Jenna and Riku begin to make their way to the entrance of the tunnels.

"There it is!" shouted Riku as he pointed to a large statue of an Earthbender.

Carefully, he lifted the statue up that was meant to conceal the entrance using earthbending and placed it onto the platform to the right of where the statue previously stood.


"Once we're inside and I've closed the entrance, I'll bend an earth wave for a few hours which will take us halfway to the Southern Water Tribe. Fortunately, we're so below the earth's surface that no one should be able to feel the earth moving below them."

"Well, let's go!"

Konata was nearly at the Southern Water Tribe...but a storm had appeared... " Woah" Lightning hit near the bison and Konata fell out...while she was in the water she got knocked out by a rock.... and washed up shore at the front of the Southern Water Tribe ...... (XD)

Seng had decided to leave the group. He only wanted to visit his uncle, and wanted nothing to do that would delay him. He did get to his uncle, who died during his visit, and returned to Ba-Sing-Se.
