Anyone see it? The game has only been released in Europe. Im waiting to snag a copy in the U.S....when they reveal the date.

Its basically an MMORPG, probably the best one ever. Here are some videos about it.

I've seen it, personally, I have a feeling it may not be as good as WoW...

But then again...:rolleyes:

I like leveling games better, they have goals in a way.

Although, I might try it out.

Something is making me doubt that.

The graphics, although, nice, are also well, horrible.

And what goals do you really have in this game?

If anything, it'll be exactly like Oblivion, just, you can interact with real people.

Oh, great we have another "Oh, THIZ WILL PWN WOW, DARKFAL RULEZ!!!" situation. Look at Warhammer Online and Age of Conan. They cutted more than half of their servers recently. Some journalists say that Warhammer Online population dropped from 750000 to 300000 recently. People need to understand that only one company can bring WOW down, and that is Blizzard themselves.

Let's look more detailed into that Trailer

"No instanced locations"-WOW, 100 people will raid the Most Powerful boss at the same time and create major lag! I guess final boss is called "Lag King"

"Free of Class and Level systems"-Level systems are backbone of any RPG. I know what, I just created a character, some one very rich gave me a 1000g and I equip myself completely. What's the challenge? And if you want to create a proper Group content, Class system is required. I can Tank, DPS and Heal myself, so why do I need anyone else?

"Aim your Sword and Blow!"-I never knew my mouse is great War Sword of Destiny! Let's try it out...

"Aim your Arrow"-Nice idea

"Aim your Spell"-Also nice idea
I would like to notice that with those 2 ideas, Melee will be way preferable.

"Block and Dodge"-I BLOKED YOU 100 TIMES, YOU ARE NUB!!!

"Attack anyone or anything"-Look, that boy and girl having a nice picnic, I think I will kill them off and enjoy their Gateau!

"Build your Own City!"-Lag is already very happy.

"Declare War"-Let's say 20 units go on 20 enemy units plus Machinery. Horrible Lag.

Before we have "MMO Revolution" we need Tech Revolution to allow us to support that Revolution.

In total, game looks good and I did exaggerate stuff above, but I don't think it will be huge Success.

WoW is more of a Mass Product now. WoW is probably isn't the best MMORPG by quality, but more of that it suit everyone.

The only game that is a rival to WoW is Lord Of The Rings Online and only because it based on the most famous fantasy world. Darkfall will be yet another "This is boring, I'm going back to WoW" failure.

I've seen this on youtube before.

Darkfall seems like an awesome game, but I wish I could play it. From the trailers, it looks like the graphics are a million times better than RuneScape and the "universe" is a whole lot bigger as well.

I look forward to getting highly addicted on it someday. :)

I agree with spem, heck, this is still in Beta, how does anyone know its onng lag or not, heck, has anyone here achually Played the game? :rolleyes:
I like the idea of no levels, i hate on games like RS you can do jack crap because you have a low level.
You have to look at the facts and see that some people have put a great amout of effort into this game, ans shouldn't be judged against WoW.
