...Think of all the people who lost their jobs. I never really loved Circuit City (I'm more of a Best Buy kind of gal), but it's still sad. BEST BUY LOST SOME COMPETITION. :O

It is horrible for all the workers who lost their jobs. I went there a few times and it wasn't that great but it was alright. Good-bye Circuit City.

Oh man. now I lost my favorite Circuit City which is in one of the Deptford Plazas -_-. Some of the stores in the plaza are Party City and Chuck E Cheese's. Whats Next? Walmart?

(Responce to what I put in bold): Walmart wont go out of buisness for a LONG time. That's a silly part of you post, no offense. Walmart has a LOT of people in it each day, and so much buisness. If Walmart were to go bankrupt, then, well...I really don't know. But it's pretty much impossible right now. If anything were to go out of buisness right now, it would be smaller stores like walmart.

On-topic: I never liked Circut City. But hey, I got 50% off Spore. Bye, Circut City.

What do you mean "Thank God"?!? They were the nicest people I have ever met at a electronics store. Our old TV stopped working 2 weeks after the warrenty expired, and Circut City let us buy a new TV at a really nice discounted price.

I bought a cam from them, it was broken. They were somewhat nice, but the refund too a long time.

I am offended. Reported. WINWINJK.

I always loved Circuit City. I had some great memories in that store. While my parents were deciding on the cheaper ink cartridges I would run over to the empty video game players and play one of those freakin' awesome car racing games. I could never win, but it was always a memory I held close to my heart.

You are a vindictive little sucker, aren't ya?

That is a bit of shame to have a pretty big place like that, just fall down. But MAN! I really wish I would of known about this while they were having all their big sales.

Shame shame, a lot of the big box retailers have been closing where I shop (CompUSA, Office Max, Circuit City, etc).

Back when I recorded with that terrible independent group Psygnos & Shoe we had a song about going to Circuit City and buying pointless crap. I'm pretty sure it was just called "Going To Circuit City". Fit nicely in the list of tracks from our unfinished and unreleased Flying With The Purple Pez album.

Circuit City was cool but their storefronts looked creepy, that might be why no one went there.

Blame Lehman brothers D:

Yeah yeah invest invest invest, result = OMG WHAT DID YOU DO YOU GOT BANKRUPT NOW YOU STARTED THE CRISIS!!!!!!!!!!

Lehman brothers was the one who started the 2008 Economic crisis.

That is a bit of shame to have a pretty big place like that, just fall down. But MAN! I really wish I would of known about this while they were having all their big sales.

They didn't just fall down, the started liquidation to make things slower.
