If I had a second chance at life,
I'd relieve everybody of their strife,
I'd stop the bullies who hurt me so,
Out the window, my old life I'd throw.
If I had a second chance at life,
I'd remove from your hand that knife,
I'd rule the world with an iron fist,
I'd clear the earth of the enveloping mist.
If I had a second chance at life,
There would be no areas where poverty was rife,
I'd watch the world beneath my feet,
Each and every single person I'd meet.
But this is it, no chances left,
I'm standing on this mountain cleft,
The wind pushes me towards the edge,
The sea crashes beneath the ledge.
You have one chance on the world,
Before into the deathland you are hurled,
You only have one chance,
One chance at life,
No second, no third,
Only one chance,
So take a deep breath,
Stand out from the crowd,
Make it count.
