Lost One

You say I say,
my prayers in vain.
You make them think,
that I am insane.
Stop following me,
to ruin my day.
When I block you out,
you still find a way.
Did you come to me,
To hurt me deep?
Or were you sincere,
When I heard you weep?
'Cause I believed every word.
I believed you when you cried.
But now I'm second guessing my trust.
I think all you've done is lied.
You say I say my prayers in vain.
Mocking every word the leaves my lips.
But you're like a broken CD,
That stops and that skips.
Each word that leaves my mouth.
I say in hopes to save us both.
But you mock my life,
Like you mocked my oath.
You say I say my prayers in vain.
But I'm telling you I'm not insane.
