Blake: I want him to win! He is the best singer and is the most diverse of all of them. He is what America should be listening to.

Melinda: Good singer, but she's ugly, and does not have the personality of an American Idol. I would boycott the show if she won. So you probably won't see me next year, since she is the crowd favorite.

LaKisha: She reminds me of Mandisa from last year; she's a good singer, but doesn't have a chance at winning.

Jordin: When Gina Glocksen left, Jordin replaced her as the person who should get 2nd place on my list.

Phil: Good singer, but he won't be here much longer.

Chris: He's a JT look-a-like, and I hate Justin Timberlake. Enough said.

Personally, I think it is the dumbest show ever, so I want Sanjaya to win. From what I've heard, Simon's gonna quit if he wins, No Simon = No American Idol. No American Idol = Me = Happy.

Now american idol is a popularity contest, Lakisha has a great voice but shes not going to win cause yeah um... shes fat?

At this point, I'm still torn between a few people. Melinda, Lakisha, and Blake are my top 3 choices. It will be a few more weeks until I can pick an absolute favorite to win. Here are my critiques:

Haley Scarnato--She's a pretty girl with a nice voice, but I don't think there is anything really unique about her singing. She reminds me a lot of Katherine McPhee. I don't think she will last much longer.

Sanjaya Malakar--Cute kid, nice smile, but DEFINITELY NOT the best singer. He should have been gone a long time ago. I think he could be a lot better than he has shown, but he seems to be very reserved when he performs. (Nerves, maybe?) Doesn't make good song choices either.

Blake Lewis--The most unique one of the group. He knows how to pick the right songs and arrange the music to make them his own. He has a really good voice too. The beatboxing melts my heart!!! He is the front-runner out of all the guys.

Melinda Doolittle--In my opinion, she is the best singer out of all of them. Probably because she is the most experienced. So far she has been nearly flawless. I love her personality--she is so sweet and humble. If she keeps doing what she has been doing, she has a very good chance of winning.

LaKisha Jones--She is right up there with Melinda when it comes to singing. She is not as experienced, but has a natural talent. She was my favorite from the beginning, but she has made a couple poor song choices along the way. I still think that she could win, but it will be a tough battle between her and Melinda.

Jordin Sparks--Cute girl with a nice voice, but I find her rather boring. She attempted to stand out a couple weeks ago by singing "Hey Baby"...and she BOMBED. I think her young age and inexperience will be her deciding fate. She will make it a couple more weeks, but I don't see her in the finals.

Phil Stacey--Nice guy, nice voice, but he's not amazing. Unless he can really pull something unbelievable out of his butt, I see him leaving either this week or next.

Chris Richardson--He is my 2nd favorite out of the guys. I don't see him winning though. He is too reminiscent of Justin Timberlake...and lets face it--there can only be one JT. He's a good singer though!

LaKisha Jones is great, and deserves it greatly.
Sanjaya, even if he gets booted out, will be more famous than any American Idol, except maybe Kelly Clarkson.

Yeah your right. since I live in San Antonio Haley is on the news paper.
To me Doolittle should win because it's a singing competition; not a beat boxing competition, hair style competition, ect.

I want Hailey to win. Even though shes not a good singer she is very pretty and would be a great pop star!
