What happened was they were in their car, and Chris was getting texts from a 16 year old girl. Rihanna kept trying to steal his phone to look at it. And she said "Stop it! I'm not you mother!" And that made him furious because his stepfather used to abuse his mom.
So he hit her several times in the face, and bit her.

I have long learned to separate an artist from the person, an athlete from the off the field actions.

A lot of our famous role models or celebrities we look up to are evil, corrupt...etc.

I'm just used to it. I was surprised, but not shocked. This is (one of the reasons) why I don't follow celebrities. As for athletes, I can follow them and respect them on the field but I never really think much of what they do off it.

First off, I think there should be a warning on that post, because I got creeped out, haha.

Secondly, this has changed my whole outlook on Chris Brown. I thought he was a nice, young rap/R&B or whatever star. I didn't like him then, but I thought he was innocent enough. I think what he did was wrong, and he did overreact but still.... she gave him herpes, and didn't tell him she had it. I would have been very angry, and most likely done something close, but I never would have hit her. I don't think any less of him, I'll just keep that in mind when I see him.
