Thought this was dead? Good, I knew you didn't.
So here's what's up. Caramelldansen was an instant success, but unfortunately, for some reason our second video was not finished due to lack of interest I guess.
And so, with that weird intro out of the way, I introduce to you, MCCP Dance 3: Hare Hare Yukai!
"Hare Hare Yukai" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mljdpRp41I4) is a song/ dance that is closing theme for the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya anime series. Do I want you to wear mini skirts in this video? You bet I do. JK. But seriously, you can wear whatever you want, as long as you have clothes on.
Oh, and this year, I'm giving a little prize.
The best dancer in this video will receive a portrait of a themselves, a person, a place, anything drawn by yours truly. You'll also get a nice little avy/ sig saying that you were voted best dancer. Once a winner is chosen, I'll create a separate thread for voting for the top 10 and you guys can pick the honorable mention. They will also receive an avy/ sig.
Judges: The Chosen One, Connie, Spem
Judging won't necessarily be on your performance, but if you are having fun... and how well you dance. ;)
There is no deadline as of right now.
I'll give you the run down.
Participants may either film themselves dancing the entire dance, or only a small portion. Please be aware that I will be editing this video and if you do the entire dance, I will cut off a few parts so others can fit in it. I recommend trying to dance through the entire song though, so that way you will show up more in the video.
Before you record, you might want to practice a little so you are ready for the real deal. Get the moves somewhat memorized, watch your computer monitor and dance to what you see.

Just because there are 3 girls and 2 men in the actual video doesn't mean you can't participate. Don't let this discourage you. If you need actual proof at how fun this dance is, just search on youtube people who have filmed themselves doing this dance and just watch at how much fun they are having.
At the ending, where they characters give their big finish in the video, I encourage you guys to do one of the five poses the characters are doing.
To participate all you need to do is record yourself with a camera dancing and then upload it to youtube.com or send it to me at sp-em@hotmail.com. Once you've uploaded it onto youtube, I'll download it from there. Once I have it, you may remove it from your account if you want. If you do not want to give away your username in the video, please email me your video and let me know. I'll respect your privacy.
For this to work, we need at least 12 people to participate. Unfortunately, if we don't meet this mark, the video can not be finished and will not be finished.
Also, you can dance by yourself, with your friends, or even with your pet! It'll be fun, I promise.

It is extremely fun once you get the hang of it. Remember, MCCP Dance encourages all participants to have fun. That's our goal here, not to make one awesome video, even though that would be pretty sweet. Just give it your best shot!
I want to do it, but this is just too embarrassing!
Don't worry about a thing. If you are going to get embarrassed, at least all of us will, in some way or another. But listen, I'll be doing this dance with you guys. It may be embarrassing, but feeling that you are a part of something really can turn a bad day into something just right.

It's awesome and I already know a few forumers who can do this.
