Just a random thought; Can you wiggle/ move your ears?

I know a lot of people can't, but I wanted to know if you guys can or not.

A few years ago I saw my cat doing it and by accident I tried mimicking that and it worked.

Nope. I really can't. I can try but I sort of end up squinting my eyes, arghhh!

Apparently my dad could do it. He was weird like that, lol.
I've been told that he could also fold his ears inside themselves or something. :S

I think my sister can do it. Maybe...?

No, but my friend Hannah can. I'm jealous. D:

Also, this kid at my school Max can fold his ears inside themselves like Miss 100 said. It's so freaky.

I can. It's nothing special, moving your ears won't help you or hurt you in anyway.

Can it hurt other people? :scary:

Is there any technique to achieve it or does it just come naturally?

I can make my whole scalp move. It makes it look like I have a wig. My ears move along with it, so technically, I can move them.

Apparantly 1/4 of the forums can.
I've only met a couple of people who can, though.

I found a site with instructions on how to do this.

Things You’ll Need:

2 ears attached to your head
normal facial muscle control, in other words no facial muscle damage from botox or other surgical procedures

Step 1
Virtually everyone can wiggle their ears, understand that it is done via facial muscles that usually are dormant, they don't normally develop during our childhood.

Step 2
You activate or develop these muscles initially by gritting your back molars together. One molar on top of molar. It is not a grinding movement and you should never grit your teeth to the point of discomfort.

Step 3
As you press your top molar onto your lower molar you will sense a slight degree of movement in your facial muscle. This step needs to be repeated a couple of times a day until you experience some ear movement. At first, you will have considerable eyebrow movement, you should consider this normal.

Step 4
Once you have experienced movement in both of your ears you can begin to separate the muscle control by gritting you molars on either side of your mouth to move that sides ear and then repeat for the other ear.I hope this helps. :)

No i cannot wiggle my ears.

That's surprising. Though it might be hard since the sheer size of them. I mean really, you could put whole ecosystems in those things.

EDIT: No, I cannot move my ears.

Yeah, I can. Only the right ear, though. Which is sort of obvious since I can't really feel the left part of my face anymore these days. :P
