Personally I think this was a great movie. Maybe a little twisted, but great! :D

What did you guys think? I would give it an 8/10.

edit: btw, I saw it in 3D. ;D

Does it have anything to do with buttons? Well, I'm going to see it in like an hour :D

Edit: Thanks for replying.

Yup, everyone in the Other World has buttons for eyes. Coraline has to sew buttons in her eyes in order to stay there.

My mom wants to see the movie really bad, so she decided to give me a reason to go see it again.

Actually, I'm really PO'd that they made a movie out of this. It's one of my favorite books, and it looks like they changed a few things. Not to say that the changes weren't necessary for the movie's sake, but it irritates me that every book I seem to like gets put on the big screen eventually.

Stories can't seem to stay in books anymore.

That's what I said in the other Coraline thread, and I still stand by it. Tim Burton will get my respect back when he starts doing more original things again.

Actually, Tim Burton has nothing to do with this film. The director for Nightmare Before Christmas, Henry Selick, is directing Coraline.

Ohh, I must've gotten them confused. That makes me much happier, as I was starting to get extremely disappointed in Burton for continuously making films out of other's ideas. :] At any rate, I think I'll steer clear of it.

I know! When I went to see it this little kid was crying really hard, then the dad was like "It's all over." It was funny! Wybie was pretty awesome. "The name is Wybie. Wybie Lovvat. Short for Why Born. Certainly not my idea. Whats your name?" "Coraline." "Caroline what?" XD I love that part. Coraline gets ticked off.

I saw it on monday. It was amazing, and It might just be one of my new favorites. The only freaky seen was when the downstairs other neighbors preformed. ( You should Know What Im taking about) This movie had plot, humor, and itensity. I rate it 9/10 because nothing is perfect.
