Loads of schools have been shut in England due to snow.
Apparantly it's the most snow we've had in 15 years or something.

But I don't need to know that.
All I care about is that there's no school and there's white fluffy stuff on my lawn. :D

It's almost funny watching how careful everyone suddenly is about their driving.

Any other Ukians/Irelandians had this much snow?

LOL

When I went to London 5 years ago, there was snow and they said it was the most amount of snow they've had in 10 years :O You guys don't get good kind of snow, it will turn into ice tomorrow.

Ukians? Haha.

Yippee! It is snowing here too and there is no school today. In a little while I think I will go out and make a snowman. It is 3 inched thick over here and apparently the worse in 8 years.

Ukians? Sounds too much like Ukrainians.

Where I live the snow is about a metre thick. I put my foot in the ground and I can't reach the ground.

My school isn't closed but I was in SO much pain (frozen feet and severe headache) walking to school I had to turn around and come home. About 200 schools in my county are closed. Mine is virtually the only one that is open...

:(

This is how much snow there is here. (http://i39.tinypic.com/23k510j.jpg)
It's not thaaaat much but it's bitterly cold.

School wasnt shut today, it wont be shut tomorow as its not that heavy. But it was one of the best days of my life, we had 20 mins added to our lunchtime JUST to play about in the snow, I had a snowball fight with my crush ;], everyone was messing about throwing snowballs, it was everywhere, in the school, in classrooms. On the way home we were chucking loads of snowballs at cars and it was so funny, I really wish I could rewind as I haven't seen snow since i was like 6, best day ever!

HEY, it was set in England! It was that movie with that highly fake actor with the British accent. Oh, yes, Hugh Grant. And it was in both his England set movies. I think that maybe all English have been hallucinating and maybe it was really snowing all along!

I swear, I'm not crazy! D;

Every few years?! I honestly don't know what you're talking about.

I'm pretty sure it has snowed (and settled) at least ONCE a year every year since I was born.
I've always lived in the South/South East.

Anyway, I have school again today but I only have to go in at 10am. Ughh... oh well.

It only settles well enough to have any fun every few years, yes.

Ok, i'm so angry. All the other schools apart from one other one were closed all day in the city I live in. I hate my headteacher, we have to go to school while other people have snow fights. Ahhh.
The snow is mostly gone now. It was nice while it lasted. If only it could of waited til tomorow (my b-day) I would have been happy then.

It was funny though, me and my mates missed practically missed WHOLE of science because we where having fun out on the field. Too bad I have detention tomorow, ON MY B-DAY.
