I don't know if this has been posted or not, I think it hasn't yet. Well, to get back on topic, McDonald's serves fake food? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IGtDPG4UfI&fmt=18
Only fake food stays good that long. Never going to McDonald's again .

Oh man that is disgusting to a major degree. Reminds me of Spongebob when they are making the patties out of gunk.

She's streching her arguments by using fake terms. "Real food"? What makes up "real food"? It's edible, right?

I'm just pointing out that she's trying to manipulate the veiwer of the video.

Anyways, this could be a fake, maybe it's not, but either way, she's not giving us very good evidence for her argument.

They expect us to pay for fake food. I regret eating so many kid's meals there when I was a kid .

I REALLY don't care what people say about McDonalds. The reason why nothing happened to the food is because they put PRESERVatives on the stuff. It is REAL food, and you eat it and digest it, and poop it out like any other food.
WE CAN HAVE fast food. Maybe not all the time but every once in a while. It's real food and people have an appetite for it. A reason WHY we have child obesity is not JUST because of McDonalds, it's because of the parent/and or child eating too much food is too large quantities. It's not like they go to McDonalds 24.7 for meals.

God, dumb dietors need to really shut up and relax. It's not McDonald's problem that children are getting fat, it's their life style and how they themselves eat.

This is REALLY annoying.

I will still eat McDonalds D:<

OH and BTW: WHO THE HECK KEEPS A 4 YEAR OLD BURGER, HONESTLY? There is probably so much bacteria on it it's not even funny. And food is MADE, so that people EAT it. Not just carry it around in a metal Spongebob Squarepants lunch box.

This is a bunch of BS.

Like Burger King is any different? Yeah, right. Every fast food you will ever eat from either of those fast food joints will still be the same as you saw in that video.

I believe in In-n-out. For all you people who don't know what In-N-Out is, it's the best burger you will ever have :D. It uses the freshest material too. Too bad most of the places are here in Southern California.

Kentucky Fried Cruelty, is just as worse. All their chickens are jam packed and filled with hormones and steriods. You think you're eating a big old nice disgusting chicken, when really you are eating about a 3 week old chicken thats been on 'roids and stuffed with hormones. Chicken is bad.

Well, there now you know the truth. Show some heart, go vegan.

They tell you NEED to eat red meat, 3-4 times a week. This is a lie. You don't need meat at all to survive. Our body and intenstines were meant for vegetables and plantation. Our intestines are way too long for meat. Meat rots away in your stomach and takes weeks to finally be fully digested and all. You don't need meat at all to survive.

Either way, all meat eaters, abuse meat anyway. They sometimes don't even realize they are eating what use to be a poor, small, little, harmless cow. They are just so use to it they eat it all the time and don't realize. All meat eaters eat meat way too much and have more than what they should in their dietary intake.

You should only be having meat about 3-4 times a week. Most people have it everyday or in every meal. Yet, you don't even NEED meat to survive.
If you look at the dietary food circle or w/e witht he 5 food groups, which is somewhat incorrect because you don't need dairy nor meat to survive. It says you should only be eating 12% of meat. Most meat eaters abuse this. Pretty much EVERYONE that eats meat, abuses this.

Josh I'm gonna put this in the nicest way possible - No.

Take your vegan propaganda elsewhere or I'm banning you. First warning. Final warning. We treat people who force religions on others the same exact way.

Keep your lifestyle to yourself. Save your little recruiting things for whenever you stand outside your local KFC holding your little signs and cages and televisions and megaphones. Keep it OFF of my forum.

edit: Fast food "meat" is pretty gross though, I will give you that much.

Dracophile, I couldn't have said it better myself. Meat was meant to be eaten. We've been doing it for millions of years and we're gonna keep eating it for millions of years. Except for KFC, they torture chickens. And any other animals that are killed inhumanely. My point is, if it's killed humanely, dig in! Now I'll shut up. :)

EDIT: Maybe you don't need meat to survive, but it tastes a heck of a lot better than veggie burgers. *shivers*

Well that was stupid.
You guys've gotta learn that there's a new health scare every week.
Newspapers publish them because it worries people, but really, if you believe those things every time you hear them, you're gonna be eating through a straw.

Dietitians now have the power to proclaim food real or not?
It's a McDonalds burger.
People don't eat them for their health, they eat them for the flavour.
Places like McDonalds have been investigated countless times, don't you think it would have been noticed if they were actually unsafe to eat?

As long as you don't eat stuff like this too often, it's fine.

Actually from a biblical perspective, in the beginning God created Adam and Eve to eat from the vegetation off the earth and live with the beasts on earth in harmony. When Adam and Eve sinned, God had to kill the first animal to make clothing for Adam and Eve to cover their nudity.
Now up to when Noah was alive before the flood happened, people STILL ate vegetation off the earth and not meat. AFTER the flood though, God had Noah set aside 7 or so clean/sacrificial animals for Noah and his family to use as sacrifices and meals since the flood had occurred and wiped out EVERYTHING. Thus, after the flood, Noah and his family were considered the first meat eaters, just so they could survive...
So actually in once sense we do need animals to survive on in some instances =D

But I agree with lizardwizard, I don't like all the PETA crap and stuff being shoved down my throat, they can keep it together in their own cultish ways.

And what woman carries a 4 year old burger with her, in a spongebob lunchbox.?

Why Americans are one of the most obese nations in the world? Because they eat McDonalds, Burger King, KFC and drink Cola and other trash like that.
I already seen how person's health goes down when they eat only McDonald, crisps and things like that for 2 weeks and that Coca Cola's "secret ingridient" is actually special insects.
Now we getting more examples that this kind of food is nothing but bunch of Chemicals.
I didn't eat in those places for some time now and it gives me more proof what kind of junk is in there.

I guess that propaganda was bad, but I don't think it is worth a ban.

I guess it could make meat eaters uncomfortable, so it shouldn't be there, but the offer was too good to refuse to him, I guess.

You can "live" off of anything you can digest. You could eat Cheese Doodles three times a day every day for 40 years and be alive and kicking. You wouldn't be in the healthiest of shape but you might still be around. It's a matter of taking in the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients your body NEEDS. You can get your protein from grilling a steak or eating a can of pinto beans, that choice is yours and I don't care wither way. I like beans with my steak, whatever.

Animal torture isn't fun and all, but honestly I couldn't care less. PeTA funds the ALF (Animal Liberation Front) which has been guilty of firebombing buildings with things such as homemade napalm. It also shows further that the ALF was once listed as a domestic terrorist group (http://www.cq.com/public/20050325_homeland.html) because of their actions. You can be anti-torture and testing all you want until you die, but once you cross into PeTA's "truth" and propaganda, we have ourselves a problem here.

People have been banned for trying to force their religions on people, and I consider lifestyles in that same boat. The only fair way to handle it is to drop the hammer from the first post, I'm not purposely trying to come off as an arrogant jerk. You can support PeTA all you want. You can be a Christan until your heart's content. But I ask that you keep your personal lives to yourselves. You don't see me telling you all to go get all kissy kissy with an alligator and start designing fursuits do you?

edit: For the inevitable devil's advocate post of "but you have a reptiles forum nur hur" - A) it's called a joke and B) promoting knowledge and awareness about reptiles is one of my hobbies. You'd be amazed how much you could learn about them just by following me around... not like the information is ever going to save your life someday or anything.

Whoa dude, you can't just go around saying all Americans are obese. Hardly anyone I know is fat. Are you British? What if I went around saying all Brits have bad teeth? How would you feel?

EDIT: About the video, who carries around a 4 year old hamburger? And what a waste of a perfectly good potato! Besides, she's fat, too!

She says real food breaks down. Honey doesn't break down. Does that mean honey isn't real food?

Why is food that lasts forever bad? That sounds like a good thing to me. Like soda that never loses its carbonation(willy wonka!), or batteries that never lose their electricity.

For the record, I would still eat those french fries.

People saying they're never gonna eat at McDonalds again are overreacting.
Unless you eat McDonalds all the time, you don't need to worry.

Whoa dude, you can't just go around saying all Americans are obese. Hardly anyone I know is fat. Are you British? What if I went around saying all Brits have bad teeth? How would you feel?

I love the  smiley you did there, it made you seem really smug.
He never said all Americans are obese, and anyway, statistically an unusually large amount of Americans are obese.

Generalisations like 'all Brits have bad teeth' are different.
'Bad teeth' is not something which can be measured and put onto a graph.
How many British people have you met?
Not a lot, I expect, so I'd rather you said something you can back up next time.

Really, stop taking this video so seriously, okay?
It's not good for you to react to everything like this you see.
It's best to judge which stuff like this you should listen to, and which not to.
It could have been faked anyway.

Luckily we don't have to worry because we don't eat at McDonald's. We eat at Harvey's because it's the only fast food chain with quality food. Their burgers are grilled / flame-broiled. Like eating right off the BBQ. And they have onion rings as well as poutine if you don't want just plain fries.
