According to a recent study, it isn't the killing and violence that attracts the player. It is the freedom and accomplishment they get when playing it :D

It is still not going to change anyones mind. I still find them bad. They said that it is just more fun, not that it won't get people out in the world killing other people.

Those people who play CoD 4 and study all the guns and fire rates then put newspaper articles on their walls involving murders are overjoyed, with science off their back they can continue being creepy.

Still I think if you spend a few hours a day blowing peoples heads off
you might have an itchy trigger finger.

Whenever I play Halo 3, I don't play because of the violence, I just think it's cool when I get a double kill or something. I feel like I accomplished something :D I like this study unlike some of the other ones.

I think most of violent games are putting bad influence, and I think everyone heard about story how a 6 year old drove to school on his dad's car and got idea from GTA. Especially when games are played by people who are not supposed to play it (Rating).

This kind of things are especially bad:
Barbarian style slicing enemies and see blood
GTA
Shooting in human enemies

Yeeaay, violence :scary:

In Sweden there was once a documentary about violent games, espically the Postal games (They're so voilent it's ridicoulous) , and after that documentary had been sent on TV the Postal games started to sell like 50% more in Sweden than before. There the lords of political correctness were owned by themselves alright.

I think games like GTA are a bad influence because it isn't like it is futuristic. It is this timezone, real crimes that happen, and they can be realistic crimes too.
