Are you ready for this? I'm ready for this. I'm as ready as that song by 2 Unlimited tells me to be. I've BEEN ready, ever since those commercials for the Sega Genesis told me to get ready for the next level of gaming. I got to that level, and I beat it. The end guy was hard. I think I'm rambling, let's get on with the show. Speaking of shows, maybe when this whole shebang is done I can convince the fellows at Channel F Productions to make a video out of this. *takes a sidenote*

IMPORTANT POST STARTS HERE. We're gonna do this. We're gonna do this now. Nominations are open, but I have some ground rules. You need to follow these, I beg of you. Not only will it just make the end result a lot easier to come up with, everything will be uniform and if you all follow this format then everyone will be happy and maybe some other surprises will come out of this if we all behave. I don't know what surprizes because Dracophile won't say anything. Actually I'm lying, I can read the staff forum but I'm not allowed to say anything.

Submitting your nominations: Rather than type up a paragraph of nonsense, I will present these as "rules", and here they are. If you violate any of these, we will discard your post and nominations and you won't be eligible for any fun stuff Dracophile wants to do relating to this project.

1. Do not pick more than seven people.
Seven people is your limit. You can choose 1-6 if you like but 7 is as high as you go. Choose wisely. (Note: Dracophile will not count towards your 7, see the next rule for more info.)

2. You cannot nominate Dracophile.
You can pick ANYBODY FROM THE FORUMS THAT YOUR HEART DESIRES. Anybody, and I mean it. If they have/had an account you can pick them; banned, not banned, underage, moderator, it doesn't matter to me. The only person you cannot nominate is this guy (http://penguinforum.miniclip.com/member.php?u=4). It's for fairness, if he was nominated, he would take #1, and there is no surprise in that. If you like, after you pick your five, you can give some shout-outs or say some things about Dracophile because he'll get a special separate ranking apart from everyone else. He gets 0th place.

3. Post in here once and once only.
No off topic discussions. There should be no reason to quote anybody in this thread. We will have another thread for off topic chatter about this. In this thread post your five and be done, that is all you need to do. Don't post your 5 and post some off topic comments at the bottom, just don't do it. Don't. Please.

4. Elaborate, please.
If you WANT you can just post seven names and call it a day. We would really like it if you would type something about them though, such as WHY you are picking them and some things they have done. Links, pictures, etc are welcome. We might be quoting and borrowing parts of your post for a presentation or something. You can type a couple sentences or an entire paragraph, that is up to you.

5. Here is an example post to use as a guide.
Below is an example you are free to borrow for your own posts. You do not have to follow this EXACTLY, this is just an idea.
Nomination #1: Dracophile (don't nominate him this is an example)
Why: Dracophile has been a part of the forums almost since the very first day they were created. As a new moderator he was given a tangled mess to work with and what began as a single subforum turned into a full community under his watch. Without his guidance or under the responsibility of someone else, no one is sure where the forums would be today. He's also funny. Or so he thinks.

I added this one in because it quickly became a common question. Choose wisely, please do not go back and edit out people and replace them with someone else. It will get confusing since we are going to be keeping track as we go and also for a final count at the end when the nominations close. You also might be editing at the same time we are counting, so in the end your new vote won't count. It's complicated like that. If you didn't choose all 7 people, you may go back and edit more people in until we close the nominations.

Why I'm nominating him: Pman has done a bunch of stuff for this forum. He's banned so many bots and tons of other users that need the ban, stops spammers, and pretty much everything else. In a nutshell, he's gone beyond duty to serve the forums. Just go to the ban list and look at how many users he's banned!

Nominee 2: Ziek
Why I'm nominating her: Ever since Ziek was a trainee moderator, she's been really helpful. She even look (alot) of time to update the CP Album. She had to go through over 400 pages, yet she finished it really quickly, quite a feat.

Nominee 3: FunnyBoy
Why I'm nominating him: I didn't want to nominate a third staff member...but he listens to what I have to say about the forums. He's guided me and helped me alot. He deserves a big thank you.

Nominee 4: Kogeck
Why I'm nominating her: Her artwork is amazing, a great inspiration to others.

Nominee 5: Samwesty(999?)
Why I'm nominating him: The MCCP Event Log was a great idea. I enjoyed looking (and logging) past events for him.

Nominee 6: Rod Rego
Why I'm nominating him: Rod Rego may not be active, but he was a great user. Really mature, full of ideas, all the qualities you want in a good forumer. Take Pixel Penguins for an example. It was ingenious. Plus he runs a really popular site, PengSpace. I wish he was still here, but I get to talk to him a few times a week on MCCP.

Nominee 7: The Chosen One
Why I'm nominating him: Chosen has a great sense of humor, it always brightens my day. But nobody can beat Dracophile. :P

[Biggalo]

RancidKraut - Rancid Kraut was a notable forum personality because he stirred up one of the biggest controversies ever, hacking. He was the first person to come out and say, "Hey, lookie me... Party hat." Everybody was wanting to know this guy the more and more he posted at the MCCP forums. I'm pretty sure that very, very few of you remember him, but trust me, he was big.

Happlecot - How could you not love this guy? He was intelligent, had lots of great ideas, helpful... I could go on. Happle was a very nice guy, and it seemed you could never tick him off. However, he admitted that he was underaged and was banned for a few months until he turned thirteen. Very shortly after he was unbanned, he said he was leaving forever, and requested a perma-ban on his account. He has been very quiet ever since.

Waitor - One of the first people to join the online Club Penguin community. Waitor was THE pioneer of Club Penguin fan art. In his forum career, he sparked many, many avatar and signature trends, and made many artwork "shops". He was also a very helpful forum member who contributed to helping newcomers feel war and welcome by giving them avatars and signatures.

Vital Viper - He was certainly a big personality. ;)

QAZARPENGUIN - This member, I swear, had to be the most controversial member of the MCCP community, ever. He was your typical helpful forum member. Posted guides, answered to newbies questions, until that one day. His forum career was marred by the feud with RFS, the forum administrator over whether he thought he should be a moderator. RFS refused, and a couple of hazy hours later, QAZAR was perma'd. Many forumers were disappointed, because QAZAR, to them, was a god. Some defended him, but many other's from the forum administration said they had reached a consensus, and he would remain permabanned. Qazar today resides in the Miniclip forums and is most active in the Sketch Star section.

Roya - Roya was a big contributor to the community and deserves a place in the MAP's. She was relentless on those who deserved no relent, and was kind to those who deserved kindness. She wasn't afraid to unpolitely decline a friend invite if you were a complete moron and she wasn't afraid to tell you exactly why. She's undeniably cool.

Poe - Poe and I have been friends for a long time, and he shares the same interests as me. Not only that, but he's intelligent, was one of the first to realize that not all of those "penguins" are idiots, and makes great animations.

Donnybrook - I'd like to nominate Donnybrook for a few reasons. Donny was always cool to people on the forums, that
might sound like a dumb reason but it was true, and he was good at art, always in teams. IMO he definetly left his
mark on the forums, but to be honest I don't know if he's a boy or a girl....... I am pretty sure he's a he. Some people
were mad, supposedly he ripped but you only live once so who cares?

Redenator - I liked the way Redenator posted, it was fun reading his posts. Again with the gender issues, everyone
thought he was a guy but he made a thread before he got banned saying that he was a girl. I'm not too sure, but people
talk about him (or her) still, so that's why I'd like to give my second nomination to Redenator. I still lol @ the screenie of
his or her avatar taken an instant before he or she was banned for ever!

ELseano - I don't think alot of people remember ELseano but I do. Before I joined the old forums I
always saw him posting and I sort of learned from him, like not to be an idiotic n00b, even though
that ended up happening and I was a n00b for some time.

Spem - My last nomination goes to Spem. I met Spem on one of the first days on the new forums.
If Spem posts a thread you're guaranteed it's a good one. His art is really good too, and all the
things he did and does, like the Penguin news broadcast.

Okay, I don't care if anyone says Fishy didn't do much for the forums, he did do a lot for the community of us forumers. He really helped out in the entertainment biz with the MCCP Radio Network, etc. and is an overall awesome guy.

I'm not really great friends with him, but he has made a lot of great suggestions on the better part for the forums. He is a great guy and is always pointing out the problems. He also comes up with many great ideas for the forums.

Reason: Basically every single post he makes is filled with very detailed information. He acts very professional, and is a big idol to many. iWaddle really deserves this award for all his hard work and I know he'll feel so proud.

Reason: Kogeck always states her opinion, good or bad. But, that's just how she is. She always amazes everybody with her art and as iWaddle inspires many forumers.

Reason: Really, where would we be without Spem? He's one of the bigger pieces to the puzzle of MCCP.

Reason: Ziek's the spice of the forum and I really think she deserves this wonderful acheivement.

Reason: Simply a wonderful user all around. Nothing more needed than that.

Reason: A wonderful moderator who always focuses on getting the job done. Even though he may seem very strict to many, he's just doing his job, and is very great at it at that.

Reason: I really thought a Club Penguin staff member needed to be nominated. Hamustar is always very helpful, espically when it comes to Club Penguin. Duh. :P

I'm going to be different than everyone else:

#1: Samwesty999- The MCCP Event Log. It was a very good idea. IT ACTUALLY CONTRIBUTES TO THE FORUM. MEANING TO EVERYONE.

#2: REVENGE- Her writing has been excellent and is very inspirational. That's why I call her "Forum Philosopher."

#3: Ziek- The only reason I am picking her is because she contributes to the community, not by a skill, but by being a friend to everyone. She gives advice in Life/Emotion or will joke around in Posting Games. Those are just few of the many examples.

#4: Tom Yellow-Penguin- I have picked Tomy because of his Role Playing threads. It has brought forumers together to use their imagination together and to make pages and pages of adventure, humor, and many other topics. He also isn't funny and nice to me but to EVERYONE.

#5 Poisenman- Even though my User Cp may be filled with multiple warnings from him, it just goes to show how good of a mod he is. He has enforced all of the rules and made sure this forum is nice and clean from scum. Having a strict mod can keep these forums up and so I think he contributes majorly.

I am nominating iWaddle because it seems that he really cares about the forum. iWaddle has been helpful to the forum ever since I knew him. I must have gotten about 20 messages from him, and they all were lists of bots on the forum. Whenever a banned user returns, or there is a problem on the forum, iWaddle always points it out.

I didn’t really want to nominate a staff member, because of course they are helpful, and contribute to the forum, but when I really thought about it, I thought my nomination should go to PM. He tries his best to make this forum a better place and less spammy. He has banned A LOT of the bots, and doing that takes a VERY long time, which proves that he cares about the forum enough to spend that much time banning that many bots. He is a very helpful, friendly, and kind forumer/moderator.

I dont really know what else to say other than that I wish Rod Rego still came on here.

You ran for President, I rigged the elections. At one point in time you may or may not have been in the same "boat" as QAZARPENGUIN. Popular with the people, unpopular with the Moderators, but I took the gamble and appointed you as Moderator. Months later we're hanging out at school together and looking at snakes and lizards at zoos.

3. Rod Rego
Nobody gave you enough credit. Despite the fact that your websites frequently irritated New Horizon Interactive by listing SWF files and framing load.swf into the pages, you had the smarts to figure out how to do that. Krazy from RFSHQ may have raked your game Waddles: The Fangame of the Summer over the coals when RFSHQ was still in operation, but you had a grip on making games, something that not everyone was able to do.

4. JoeyPeng
You tested my patience like the Chinese government with your freedom-of-the-press forum paper "The Truth". Full of tabloid and things that really didn't pass as "truth", your paper was censored by New Horizon and moderators requested that other parts be deleted, something that wouldn't become a problem again until "The Examiner".

5. Waddledee
Another spectre that disappeared between the forum change. Waddledee was someone that may or may not have had the possibility of being in my shoes at the time. Not that I felt like I was being competed with, because my Moderator spot came up and surprised me, but Waddledee was also a good candidate as well.

6. Gimilie115
He played Club Penguin for all over about fifteen minutes I think. He was once the most active poster on Miniclip, and when the forums first opened in March 2006, he was one of - if not THE - first people to plant the seeds of the community by stirring up activity. Even if he was posting high score contests for games and questions about where things were at, the person who gets to take the crown of the first official penguin is none other than Gimilie. The rest is history.

7. Monksal85
Monksal85 has the strange gift of being able to have been so active but remained out of everyone's view the entire time he was here. He remained in the community dating back to before these and when we carried over he was one of the first to join and start posting again. Through some strange means he managed to get people to start to not like him and he was eventually permabanned for attacking Spem outside of the forums. However he finally got his moment to shine under his alternate account Dirty Water when he posted this (http://penguinforum.miniclip.com/showthread.php?p=461230#post461230). His notoriety never caught on like other troublemakers and all that's left of him now is a pinned thread in the General Chat forum.

Why: Do I even have to say why? I am sure everybody knows. Anyway, he takes a huge amount of time on this forum and has posted loads and loads of successful threads. He is also an expert on CP and runs tons of CP related things – just look at his sig. Notable things include his great role-plays, the CP event log, the CP news he updates us with and half of the threads in the forum (yes, he posts too many threads). He has helped me loads with MCCP Event Log by giving me a whole ton of past events that took him hours and helps me all the time with it. All his posts are in full detail and he takes a lot of time with them. All the time he spends is probably due to his condition, in which he keeps everyone up-to-date with interesting blogs about him. He also helps loads and loads with forum things by answering questions and general support things. I personally am surprised that he hasn’t been modded yet.

Why: I first recognized CoolGuy’s huge helpfulness and contribution back in June, July and August 2008. His greatly contributed to several clubs including the RMCC, TCPV and his very own CPCC. He was great by turning up to every meeting of all the clubs, taking photos, regularly posting in the threads and generally helping. I know it doesn’t contribute to the whole forum, but it does contribute to the club/team section greatly. I feel that this needs to be recognized, even if it was last year. He has also made lots and lots of great role-plays and is generally a very well behaved and good poster.

The people I am about to nominate are special. This is because without them, the forum wouldn't be how it is today. I would like to say we share an equal part in making these forums great, and we all should know that we don't need an award to verify that. We are all Accredited Penguins. I would also like to say that these forums have been a place that entertained me more than I can explain, and I seriously think I have learned a lot from my short experiance on the forums. Thank you MCCP. You have all changed my life, for the better.

Poisenman101- I want you all to just picture something for a minute. Picture how the forums would be like if Poise wasn't here. I know you all may be pictureing candy land. But I will tell you what you should be seeing in your creative young minds. The forums would be full of rude and horrible posters that annoy the us to the point were we want to quit. And spamming would have its own sub-forum. Poise is a great guy. A great friend. A person who has made a diffrence on these forums. And if I do ever plan on leaving MCCP, he will be one of those I'm going to miss greatly.

Kogeck- I'm telling you that Gabi is one of my best friends here, but that is not why I am nominateing her. If you all can show me a thread were she asked us to rate her art and there wasnt a 10 out of 10, then I would be greatly suprised. Her art is just one of her talents that makes her unique. She is an amazing person. She is always looking to help. She may not always be in a great mood lol *waits for crowd to laugh at stupid joke*, but she wont take it out on anyone. Gabi, you are a great friend, and a great person, and you deserve this nomination and you deserve a better paragraph explaining why.

Samwesty999- I mean come on. Tell me if you can find one person that doesn't like Sam. He is one of the nicest people here. Every post he makes contributes. He is always looking to help in any way possible. He has made some of the greatest threads that have been posted on the forums. He puts fourth maximum effort in everything he does. Sam is just one of those people you want to get to know. He is one of those forumers who is a Mod without the benefits. Sam is a great friend. And I know I can always count on him. What he has done for MCCP is to hard to put in one nomination. But we should all know why I nominated him.

The Chosen One, walmartshrty, Phenom- I really don't know how to decide this nomination. Because I was going to pick somebody who entertains us with every post, but I would say they should all be Combined. So..Wally, Chosen, and Phenom. You guys make us all laugh with every single post you make. You are that extra spice we throw in at the end to give the dish a little kick. Without you guys I think I would have quit MCCP a qhile ago. I look foward to seeing every single one of your posts to come. You all deserves this one nomination. (This nomination is Chosen's. I just feel that they all deserved to be mentioned. But give this one to Chosen.)

ToM!- Tom is just one of those dudes that you can always count on to come through for you. He is one the few people I have met on here that I will continue to talk to if I left. His impact on the forums is 100% positive. The Sports Superdome wouldnt be the same without him. His threads all help in their own little way. He gives up his time to make forums for clubs. He is the definition of what a mod should be. Thank you Tom, for all you have done for me, and the forums. Go Packers.

Drum roll please...

1 & 2) First off I'm nominating two people at once. Screenhog and Rsnail. Why? They created the game for goodness sakes, without their work there would be no Vital Viper, and no CPMC. Yea I can rally up the troops and beg for a blue cape to be made but without these two being on the forums it would have never made it into the game. I know they hardly show up here now but I am one of the very few who can recall the glory days when the very makers of the game were right here listening to and acting on our requests. To think that such important people would give me the time of day was special to me and all those who were around back then.

3) Waitor, that's right Waitor even though he spelled it wrong. I still remember the Retro Penguin avies, lol. Everyone who was anyone wanted one, and I got the first ever Retro Penguin Desktop. He also is the one who came up with "Power in the cape!" which has stuck with me ever since. For quite some time he was easily the official sig/avy supplier of Vital Viper. and that's including the infamous Blue Capes Avy:

Just imagine everyone in the forum having that in their signature. It was crazy.

4) You seriously can't have this list without Joeypeng on it. He spearheaded the most successful and controversial CP News Paper that the forums had ever seen. Joeypeng was a good friend of mine so I tried to give him some good info here and there and was featured in most of his papers. The best paper he ever put out was the one where he 'revealed' that Draco (then RFS) had rigged the CP Presidential Elections poles and that I actually won instead of Tom (then Big Balla). It is easily the biggest CPMC scandal to date, but Draco and I laugh about it now. His downfall came when he ultimately turned on me and published a particularly hurtful story about me that claimed I would never be a moderator again and was no longer popular. Within a week I was remodded and he admitted defeat and requested to be permabanned.

*Side note* There have been rumors that Waitor and Joeypeng are actually the same person, lol. I personally doubt it because I knew them both very well but since they BOTH made my top 5 I think it is worth mentioning.

5) This is probably the hardest spot to choose. I still have a couple people in mind who deserve it but I've got to pick someone. So last (and likely least) is Robo. This guy is crazy, seriously. Robo and I go pretty far back and he has always had a very outgoing personality but if you really sit down and talk to the guy he is MUCH smarter than you think he is. He is probably most noted for his involvement in The Deja Vu Forum along with a general reputation for acting out. He is currently an Owner on the TIS Chat ;)

Well it was tough but I narrowed it down to 5 that I think most people will or have overlooked. There have been LOTS of users to come and go through my time here so this was very hard for me.

BONUS

6) Poisenman101, he really should have made my top 5 but I didn't want people saying I nominated him just because we are really good friends. He keeps this place in order, whether you like him or hate him he knows the rules and enforces them accordingly.Poise has been around for a long time and is a very mature and respectable user. Poise also keeps my Chat in line as an Owner and always has the best interests of the community at heart. Poise is a great moderator, and more importantly a great person. he will go on in life and do great things.

7) For ol times sake I'm nominating DJ lambofun. He is most recognized for running the CPMC Presidential elections. I still remember the final debate hosted in his packed igloo, it was easily one of the best events in CPMC history. DJ Lambo fun was always busy coming up with new events clubs and activities for the forums and was always fun to talk to. He was also the head of SBPB (Snow Ball Paint Ball) League.

Reason: I've known him for a very long time now. He's a great friend, and a terrific moderator. He's done more for this community than most people know. That's why he's my #1 nomination.

Nomination #2: I Ate A Fish
Reason: No matter what IAAF was always mature, he was a very influential poster for me. He also had an awesome chat. I had a lot of good memories there. That's why he is my #2 nomination.

Nomination #3: FunnyBoy
Reason: He's done an awesome job moderating this place. And he is a cool person to talk to. Keep it up Fb.

Nomination #4: iWaddle
Reason: Wow, iWaddle. I've never seen someone who is this dedicated to helping people. You're truly amazing. Keep it up. :)

Nomination #5: Sebastian
Reason: You've never really done anything positive for this forum. You sure have made an impact though. I can't really end this reason with a "keep it up" unfortunately. :P

Nomination #6: Oagalthorp (sp?)
Reason: Oagal was the leader of the ACP (Army of Club Penguin). He made a big impact on the forums. Creating a long line of CP armies. That's why he is my #6 nomination

Nomination #7: Joeypeng
Reason: He was a very mature forumer. He also was the only penguin brave enough to go straight into the General Chat section on MC forums with a penguin avatar. :P Joey created probably one of the biggest forum newspapers of all time. "The Truth". I can't say I liked his paper. I can say however it made a big impact on the forums

#1 - Vital Viper - For creating the legendary TheImportantSnakes XAT where we can all meet up with with a bunch of awesome guys . and if it wasn't for that.. the MCCP Radio wouldn't of been born, and I wouldn't of met anyone that i know today and always been an awsome guy on the forums. Friendly. sorts the problem, bish bash bosh.

The Penguin Magnet. Created one of the most popular forum chats aside from IAAF. Helps CP players by offering suggestions on their clothing. Hosted the CPMC Squares game. Has been there almost from the start.

I really am too lazy (cba) to write a load about my nominations, so I'll be keeping it short.

Balthasar - Pretty obvious one here, perhaps the best poster to ever post on these forums. She was the soul of the community while I was here.

I Ate A Fish - This guy was outstanding. From when he started 'the' chat all the way till he sadly left he was respectful and a huge part of the community.

Gamerboy - Absolute trooper for this place. The fact he's remained since the pre-MCCP days are a testament to his loyalty.

Vital-Viper - This guy is legendary. Not much else to say.

Miss 100 - Made some of the best general posts on this forum. Totally underrated but a big part of MCCP for me.

Robo - Still going strong, eh? Just like GB, he will just not go away. Great guy, really deserves some recognition.

TokyoBoy - Might know him as Eugene? Absolutely top guy, such a shame he was underaged, as I'd put him above 99% of the current CP community in terms of post quality.

Could of gone with like 10 others, but these will have to be my final 7.

Nomination 1: Oagalthrop
How can anyone forget him? He created the now infamous ACP, which effectivly led to the no army rule. But, he was a good user, and I think people misunderstood him because of the ACP.

Nomination 2: Nrop
He was an old user, and a really great forumer. While I got to know him outside of these forums, I know that he was still a great person here. He hasn't been avtive much since we chagned forums, but he has dropped in every once in a while.

Nomination 3: Hot Pizza
He was an intersting user, it was apparently made by a 17 year old, who left home to do something for school. His little brother was left in charge of his penguin account, and he had the password. He had seen his brother on the forums, and used that password to get in. He ended up being forced by his brother who later returned to confess. It was definatley one of the most interesting moments in forum history.

Nomination 4: Redenator
Great user, he/she will be most remembered for posting a thread saying he/she was really a girl and had been pretended to be a guy. I'm not sure, but people have said that he/she revealed later it was all one giant trick and that he/she wasn't a girl. He/she came back as the user jxshua and confessed a few weeks ago, and was prema-banned. P.S: Yes I still used he/she because I'm not sure. P.S.U.T.P.S (Post Script under the Post Script): I still wonder where I saw that picture though.

Nomination 5: Tetsumonchi
I can't believe he's gotten 1 vote so far. He moderated the forum with Draco on the old ones, and is active on these. He is a great and funny user and moderator, and really deserves to be in the top 20, not out of the list.

Nomination 6: Died by Bear
Great user, he left about a month after the forums were created. He left because he was mad at Rod Rego, but he returned. He still comes in everyone once in a while, but doesn't post much. He also created one of the early successful clubs, and one of the few succesful sport clubs, the PBA. He was such a good user, that when he was prema-banned, he drew a "USER WAS REGRETTABLY PERMABANNED FOR THIS POST"

Nomination 7: Black Skully
Incredible, he created the original Non-Member Party Item list. He was a great user, who isn't very active anymore. He also created "Hang Time Surfers" when they first created the Cove. It was a very good club, and he did a good job running it.
