this is a sleeping penguin , we can all see he is lying there , but i read that penguins sleep while they are standing and they don't lie down... pretty funny :D do u think CP made that as a joke on purpose or they didn't know penguins sleep while standing? :O

And you actually think some random 6 year old kid knows this? They just did that so the kids would understand.. if they would make so the penguin would stand while he is asleep then there are gonna think that it's an error or a bug. :rolleyes:

Another illogical thing in the Club Penguin universe, maybe the penguin with the sombrero is a guy in disguise and had to be doing that pose for 3 hours and fell asleep.

I think club penguin said penguins sleep standing up as a nice of an excuse why they don't have beds in the game. I guess the real reason would be 2 penguins in a bed:confused: enough said.

Actually, if you read the words on the clothing catalog page, it says, "I said 'FIESTA', not 'SIESTA'!" A siesta is a short nap taken in the early afternoon, often after the midday meal. It's just a joke. Plus, a penguin in a sombrero and poncho does not make him mexican.

Anyway, they use personification with the penguins. They give them the human traits of talking, buying things, clothes, games, chat, emotions, and all of that. To suddenly make it like a real penguin is just odd. If they had it standing up then they might as well get rid of the stuff listed above.
