I have Bose speakers that could probably do that, but common sense tells me not to.

My TV has S-Force 7.1 Surround sound, whenever I shoot with a gun (GTA IV, The Orange Box) it sounds like it's coming from outside, one time I even went to go check, I figured that was just me.

What is the point of having your speakers up that loud? I know the effect is cool, but it comes to the point where it hurts your ears and it is just annoying.
