I just begun a new game of Pokémon Diamond, on the DS. You know the way you have to go to your friends house at the start, well, after my "friend" left his room, I went over to the little window. Then I hit the right key, and pressed A. Then this came up;

"Wow! A Wii with a Wii controler!"

Very subtle, Nintendo :rolleyes:

Um yeah, I think I saw this like a year ago. I got my game at new year, and found it in the same day.

There was something similar in the previous games.
N64->Gamecube->Wii->??

Wow, how funny of Nintendo to do that.
Next thing you know it'll be on the Wii talking about an even newer system.

Yeah, they do that with all the games. I don't think it's an advertisment. If anything, it kinda breaks the fourth wall a bit by making you think, "Wait, Nintendo?! LOLWUT??"

In Pokemon Red, there is a SNES in your bedroom.

Yeah, that's right. I can't remember what it was in Leaf Green/Fire Red. It might have been a NES or an N64?

In Pokemon Red/Blue/Green there was an Super Nintendo Entertainment System in the game.

In Gold/Silver/Crystal there was a Nintendo 64 in the game.

In Ruby/Sapphire/Fire Red/Leaf Green there was a Nintendo GameCube in the game.(If I recall in Ruby/Sapphire they advertised the GameBoy Advance in this game aswell, I am not sure if they have advertised the handhelds in other Pokemon titles.)

In Diamond/Pearl there was a Nintendo Wii in the game.

So, as you can see Nintendo have always been advertising their game consoles in their Pokemon games. This is not exactly advertising, mainly just easter eggs, they are rather funny and humerous.

In Ruby and Sapphire, they had Gamecube. Nothing new.

I also noticed in Super Paper Mario, when you help Merluvlee (or whatever her name is, don't remember, was like two years ago I played the game) and she ask to bring her the Training kit, when you bring it to her, it shows a picture of an original Nintendo DS. :rolleyes:

EDIT: Also, in the first Paper Mario for the N64, if you go to Luigi's secret room after you beat Bowser, it will say in the diary that some Shy Guys had appeared in Toad Town and that they are from a Toy Box and then he said: "Maybe they have a Nintendo 64".
