To connect to the internet with a nintendo wii, you must configure your Wi-Fi settings with a computer with a broadband adapter.

Perform a Wii system update, then go to the Wii shop channel. Go to Wii ware. You should see something that says: Internet Channel. Download it. When you go back to the Wii home menu, it will be there.

First you have to get the internet trial version.
(after you configure your wii to connect to a wirless network,) You just go the shop channel and download the internet trial for free (the full version isn't available yet).
Internet should now be a channel

Do you have Wireless Internet? You need that or a Nintendo USB Wi-Fi Connector.
